MEVLÂNÂ MUSEUM / MEVLÂNÂ MÜZESİ ☘️

When we think of Konya, many of us think of "Mevlana". There are surely some of you who have visited this place. For those who have not visited, I will try to show you the museum based on my feelings and thoughts. I hope I can convey something to you, even if it is virtual.

Konya deyince birçoğumuzun aklına "Mevlana" gelir. Aranızdan burayı ziyaret edenlerde muhakkak vardır. Ziyaret etmeyenler için duygu ve düşüncelerimden hareketle müzeyi gezdirmeye çalışacağım. Sanal da olsa umarım sizlere birşeyler aktarabilirim.

Last week I was in Konya for a few days and my friend and I had the opportunity to visit many places in one day. I even shared a post about them, and today I decided to share the Mevlana Museum. Entrance to the museum was paid at first, but luckily for us, we stepped into the museum for free that day by passing through security. Konya sign welcomed us at the entrance. Konya is really the city of hearts. It welcomes its guests very well. They see everyone as a friend. When we headed towards the entrance, we came across a wonderful door. Don't you think it is magnificent? For those who cannot read it, it says "Ya Hazrat Mevlana" on the door. After entering this magnificent gate, symbolic graves caught my eye. I used this term because I don't know whether they are real or not. If anyone is knowledgeable about this, please comment.
The turbans on the heads of the graves are quite remarkable.

Geçen hafta birkaç günlüğüne Konya'daydım. Arkadaşımla bir günde birçok yeri gezme fırsatımız oldu. Hatta bunlarla ilgili post paylaşmıştım. Bugün de Mevlânâ Müzesini paylaşmaya karar verdim. Müzeye giriş önceleri ücretliymiş ancak bizim şansımıza o gün ücretsiz bir şekilde güvenlikten geçerek müzeye adım attık. Girişte bizi Konya tabelası karşıladı. Konya gerçekten gönüllerin şehri. Misafirlerini oldukça iyi ağırlıyor. Herkesi dost olarak görüyorlar. Girişe doğru yöneldiğimizde harika bir kapı ile karşılaştık. Sizce de muazzam değil mi? Okuyamayanlar için kapıda "Ya Hazreti Mevlana" yazıyor. Bu görkemli kapıdan girdikten sonra gözüme sembolik mezarlar ilişti. Gerçek olup olmadığını bilmediğim için bu tabiri kullandım. Bu konuda bilgili birisi varsa yorumda belirtebilir.
Mezarların başındaki sarıklarda oldukça dikkat çekici.

While talking about the museum, it is important to mention its architecture and artwork. The exterior of the museum is quite simple, but almost every part of the interior is full of art. We can easily see that these artistic works made in the past shed light on the present.
In addition to these, there are also artifacts that still preserve their mystery.

Müzeden bahsederken mimari ve sanat yapısına değinmeden geçmek olmaz. Müzenin dış kısmı oldukça sade ancak iç kısmının nerdeyse her noktası sanatla dolu. Geçmiş dönemlerde yapılan bu sanatsal çalışmaların günümüze ışık tuttuğunu rahatlıkla görebiliyoruz.
Bunların yanında gizemini hâlâ koruyan eserler de bulunmakta.

One of the points that caught my attention while visiting the museum was the clothes reflecting the clothing culture of the period.
The clothes are quite plain and simple. Of course, it is impossible to see the flamboyant dresses like today 🙂 As the conditions and circumstances change, people keep up with this change.
Frankly speaking, I liked the dresses very much. If I had the opportunity to try them on, I think I would try them on 🙂

Müzeyi gezerken dikkatimi çeken noktalardan birisi de dönemin giyim kültürünü yansıtan elbiseler oldu.
Kıyafetler oldukça sade ve basit. Tâbi günümüzdeki gibi şaşaalı elbiseleri görmek imkansız 🙂 Şartlar ve koşullar değiştikçe insanlar da bu değişime hâliyle ayak uyduruyor.
Elbiseler açıkçası benim çok hoşuma gitti. Deneme fırsatım olsa sanırım üzerimde denerdim 🙂

After visiting the interior of the museum, we visited the small rooms outside. When we entered the first room, I made eye contact with the human figure. They made it look so much like a human that I was a little scared at first 😅
They made a small door inside the rooms. You can enter only a few steps inside. I visited all the rooms one by one and took pictures. I share the points that caught my attention with you.

Müzenin iç kısmını gezdikten sonra dışarda bulunan küçük odaları gezdik. İlk odaya girdiğimizde insan figürüyle göz göze geldim. İnsana o kadar güzel benzetmişlerki ilk anda açıkçası biraz korktum 😅
Odaların iç kısmına küçük bir kapı yapmışlar. İçeriye sadece birkaç adım girebiliyorsunuz. Bütün odaları tek tek gezip resim çektim. Dikkatimi çeken noktaları sizlerle paylaşıyorum

After visiting the rooms, we left the museum. It was about a forty-five minute trip. Then, at the request of my friend, we went to a nearby shop selling souvenirs. Many of the products were inspired by Mevlana. We bought cologne, rosary beads, Turkish delight etc.

Odaları da gezdikten sonra müzeden ayrıldık. Yaklaşık kırk beş dakikalık bir gezi oldu. Daha sonra arkadaşımın isteği üzerine yakın civardaki hediyelik ürünler satan dükkana girdik. Ürünlerin birçoğu Mevlânâ'dan esinlenerek üretilmiş. Kolonya, tesbih, lokum vs. ürünler aldık.
