ZOOM MEETING ON MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 8 WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION BEFORE GOD TO DO GOOD

Hello brethren, peace be with you all. Today I welcome you once more to the blog of @bigssam. I might say I have been blessed since from day one since joining this community. Today let me share with you the lessons I learnt during our zoom meeting.

We Have An Obligation Before God To Do Good

As a Christian accepting his cross and crown is one thing we are obliged to do is to do good to others. The Bible teaches us to be doing good, expressing love to our fellow brothers. The scriptures went far by teaching us to even extend our love and good deeds to our enemies. As we do the will of God, the Lord said we may be blameless.

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

God Wants Us To Be The Light Of The World

God has edge us to be the light of the world. And how do we become the light of the world?. God entreat all Christians to show the characters of God through them so that man may see him, this act of character here is what God is telling us to show love, kindness and express our help to mankind. We should let our good works reflect in the lives of men and in so doing it may glorify God as it is written in;

1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

God Said We Should Expelled All Those Who Do Contrary To His Will From The Church

The Gods Church should be a one that talks of the word of God. They have to teach the members how to love and do good to their fellow brothers and even their enemies, and God edge us that if any member does contrary we should expelled that person from the church.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate

Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

Proverbs 19:26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.

The Joy In Heaven When A Soul Repents

Brethren there is a greater joy in heaven when our works and characters changes a soul. So we should do whatever within our means to win souls for God.

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Promise God Made To The Church And Christians

As a Christian body or a member to a church we have a promise if we portray the characters of God.

Jeremiah 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.30:20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.30:21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
We should do good to others for God to use us to multiple souls for Him.
