Here is my entry for @psos  A-Z music challenge, today i'm on bands or songs starting with the letter Z.
So iv'e finally made it to the end of the challenge, it's been interesting to dig into the grey matter and drag some old tunes back into the world. Today's final letter is not the easiest to come up with but I think you should enjoy my choice.

Zero 7 are a duo from London consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker, they have been around since 2001 and produce a mellow sound. Working as sound engineers prior to starting thre ban the honed their skills and since have collaborated with many talented artists. A frequent addition to the duo is singer Sia who has featured on many of their songs over the last 20 years. When they perform live they bring in many session musicians and to have 20 plus on stage is not unusual.

Zero 7 - "In Time"

Back in my younger days I loved soul funk and electro style music actually I still do, out of the late 70's early 80's scene came a band made up of four brothers  Roger, Larry, Lester and Terry Troutman along with other members. Moving in the same circles as George Clinton and Bootsy Collins of Parliament-Funkadelic helped launch their career.

Famed for using the "talk box" effect their sound was unique. The band had many issues a major falling out with George Clinton and sibling rivalry within the band. In 1999 Larry killed his brother Roger at a recording studio and later that day committed suicide.

Zapp "computer love"

So as it's the last time i'll be doing this lets have a bonus tune from Ziggy Marley, who is of course the son of the late great Bob Marley. Here performing his fathers songs at a festival in Chile.

Ziggy Marley - "Coming In From The Cold / One Love"

OK guys and gals that's me all finished with this challenge, hope you have enjoyed my selections over the past few weeks. Stay safe folks!
