I like the recovery key part of the upgrade. The low transaction fees is. Also a great addition.
I was surprised to hear that transactions could last up to 6 weeks if transaction fees are low. I guess this upgrade will combat this

Definitely a welcomed improvement, but it doesn't mean you're not going to avoid paying large amounts if you don't do proper UTXO management so the same lessons still apply, hopefully wallets will make that easier going forward
Once it's in the memepool you're at the mercy of the miners, you can rebroadcast at a higher fee to get it done, but if you're putting your Bitcion into cold storage the time it takes shouldn't really matter all that much
