Baking is not one of my fortes since I like to be free when it comes to cooking and baking requires a lot of accuracy when measuring the ingredients, so when I saw this recipe it seemed ideal for me, it is super practical and easy to remember the quantities. So today I want to share it with you, I hope you like it and at some point it will help you as it did me.
Ingredientes // Ingredients
• 1 taza de azúcar
• 1 taza de mantequilla
• 1 taza de leche
• 2 tazas de harina de trigo
• 3 huevos
• 1 pizca de sal
• 1 cucharada de extracto de vainilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Con ayuda de una batidora mezclamos muy bien la mantequilla y el azúcar, hasta blanquear la mantequilla (que su color cambie a más claro).
With the help of a mixer, mix the butter and sugar very well until the butter whitens (its color changes to a lighter color).
Agregamos los huevos uno por uno mientras seguimos mezclando.
Add the eggs one by one while continuing to mix.
Con un colador, tamizamos la harina y la sal, vamos incorporando a la mezcla mientras que también agregamos la leche, seguimos mezclando y por último añadimos la vainilla.
With a sieve, sift the flour and salt, add them to the mixture while also adding the milk, continue mixing and finally add the vanilla.
Colocamos en un molde engrasado y enharinado, horneamos a 180°C por 45 minutos aproximadamente o hasta que introduzca un palillo y este limpio.
Place in a greased and floured baking pan and bake at 180°C for approximately 45 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and it is clean.
De esta manera tenemos una rica torta que podemos compartir con nuestra familia y amigos. También podemos rellenar con la crema de nuestra preferencia y celebrar un cumpleaños o regalar en una fecha especial.
