Hola madres y padres, como siempre me encuentro por aquí compartiendo con ustedes las experiencias con mis hijos en sus diferentes actividades escolares y extracurriculares, en esta ocasión se trata de mi hijo Andrés y el equipo de béisbol al que pertenece, el cual resultaron ganadores en el campeonato municipal de béisbol menor teniendo el derecho a participar en el campeonato de Copa de Campeones Estatal.
Ya tenían dos años sin poder ganar el campeonato municipal y la última vez que lo hicieron y participaron en Copa de Campeones resultaron triunfadores 🥳, en esa ocasión también compartí con ustedes todos esos momentos de felicidad.
Hello mothers and fathers, as always I am here sharing with you the experiences with my children in their different school and extracurricular activities, this time it is about my son Andres and the baseball team to which he belongs, which were winners in the municipal championship of minor baseball having the right to participate in the championship of the State Champions Cup.
They already had two years without being able to win the municipal championship and the last time they did it and participated in Copa de Campeones they were winners 🥳, on that occasion I also shared with you all those moments of happiness.
Resultar campeones del municipio fue de gran satisfacción ya que los muchachos no salieron de vacaciones en diciembre, si no que entrenaron todas las semanas por que la final se llevaría a cabo al regresar en enero, así que ver que todo ese tiempo invertido en entrenamiento daba sus frutos fue de gran alegría para todos, tanto los chicos como los padres y familiares que los acompañamos ese día. Como se puede ver en la fotografía tomada el día que resultamos ganadores, la felicidad se nos desbordaba.
Al día siguiente ya estábamos pensando en los preparativos para competir en Copa de Campeones, con la mejor actitud de resultar campeones nuevamente. El tiempo para organizarnos fue muy corto, el campeonato daba inicio 15 días después, por lo que tuvimos que apresurarnos es buscar el dinero y preparamos mental y económicamente para una semana que sería satisfactoria pero también desgastante ya que el campeonato se llevaría a cabo en otro municipio del estado por lo que debíamos trasladarnos todos los días.
El equipo como tal estaba conformado por 11 peloteros, pero para poder inscribirse debía tener una plantilla de al menos 13, así que tomamos refuerzos de otros equipos, un chico de la misma escuela y dos de una escuela diferente pero del mismo municipio. Al ser un equipo que había ganado esta copa hace dos años fue considerado uno de los más fuerte de la competencia, y eso hacía sentir a los muchachos importantes.
Being champions of the municipality was of great satisfaction because the boys did not go on vacation in December, but trained every week because the final would take place on their return in January, so to see that all that time invested in training was paying off was a great joy for everyone, both for the boys and for the parents and family members who accompanied them that day. As you can see in the photo taken the day we were the winners, we were overflowing with happiness.
The next day we were already thinking about the preparations to compete in the Champions Cup, with the best attitude to be champions again. The time to get organized was very short, the championship would start 15 days later, so we had to hurry to find the money and prepare ourselves mentally and economically for a week that would be satisfying but also exhausting since the championship would take place in another municipality of the state, so we had to move every day.
The team as such was made up of 11 players, but in order to register it had to have a roster of at least 13, so we took reinforcements from other teams, one boy from the same school and two from a different school but from the same municipality. Being a team that had won this cup two years ago, it was considered one of the strongest teams in the competition, and that made the boys feel important.
La ronda eliminatoria no estuvo tan difícil, excepto por dos equipo a los no pudimos ganarles en esa ronda pero igualmente quedamos clasificados para las semifinales y nos tocó con el equipo que venía invicto y se perfilaba como ganador del torneo. Ese fue el mejor juego de todos, había mucha expectativas por si les íbamos a poder ganar ya que en la primera ronda perdimos contra ellos, el caso es que los niños hicieron un trabajo estupendo y el juego se mantuvo cerrado en todo momento. Aunque perdimos 2 a 1 nos queda la satisfacción de que los muchachos dieron la pelea arduamente y que el otro equipo que venía de dar jonrones y hacer mucha carreras en contra de los otros equipos, con nosotros no pudieron hacerlo y la diferencia fue de una sola carrera provocada por un error.
The elimination round was not so difficult, except for two teams that we could not beat in that round but we still qualified for the semifinals and we had to play against the team that was undefeated and was emerging as the winner of the tournament. That was the best game of all, there was a lot of expectation that we would be able to beat them since in the first round we lost against them, the fact is that the kids did a great job and the game remained close at all times. Although we lost 2 to 1 we have the satisfaction that the boys fought hard and that the other team that came from giving home runs and making a lot of runs against the other teams, with us they could not do it and the difference was only one run caused by an error.
En cuanto a Andrés termino el torneo feliz porque quedó en el cuadro de honor, en la segunda posición en bases robadas y infielders, conectando aproximadamente un hit en cada uno de los partidos y aportando para su equipo. El quería verse en ese cuadro ya que hace dos años no pudo estar, claro que hubiera querido estar de primero y ganar un premio de Champions pero de igual manera quedó bastante contento con su desempeño.
As for Andres, he finished the tournament happy because he was on the honor roll, in second position in stolen bases and infielders, connecting approximately one hit in each of the games and contributing for his team. He wanted to be on the honor roll since two years ago he could not be, of course he would have liked to be first and win a Champion award, but he was still very happy with his performance.
En esta oportunidad no se pudo lograr la meta pero se hizo todo lo posible. Lo que aprendimos y me imagino que el equipo que nos ganó también aprendió, es que no se puede subestimar al contrario y como se dice en el béisbol, la pelota es redonda y cualquier cosa puede pasar. Estuvimos a punto de ganarle al equipo que venía invicto y en todo momento estuvieron asustados de perder. A la final ellos ganaron el campeonato.
This time we couldn’t achieve our goal but we did everything we could. What we learned, and I imagine the team that beat us as well, is that you can’t underestimate your opponent and that, as they say in baseball, the ball is round and anything can happen. We were on the verge of beating the team that was undefeated and at all times they were afraid of losing. In the end they won the championship.
Que bonito post 🥹🥹 me hizo recordar cuando iba a los juegos ha apoyar a mi sobrino. El equipo de Rancheros siempre se ha caracterizado por tener muy buenos entrenadores y niños con alto rendimiento. Quizás en esta oportunidad no lograron los objetivos, pero sé por experiencia que pusieron el corazón, las ganas y la intención para ganar, además de la disciplina y el esfuerzo.
Mis felicitaciones por apoyarlos y seguir adelante con ellos, aún cuando no lograron el triunfo. Para la próxima temporada lo harán en nombre de Dios. Saludos!
Muchas gracias. Nosotros ya estamos saliendo de estás experiencias, pero todos estos años desde que Andrés tenía 5 años y ahora tiene 14 han sido emocionantes.
En Rancheros nos ha ido muy bien, al principio estuvimos en otra escuela y llegamos ahí cuando el niño tenía 8 años y nos quedamos.

Hola, ellos disfrutaron ganar en nuestro municipio y también el haber dado la batalla en la semifinal, la satisfacción valió la pena y como les dijimos ellos se dieron a respetar aunque no ganaron todavía son considerados de los mejores en el estado en esa categoría.
