Este día pasaron varias cosas que no permitieron que el evento se llevará a cabo con total satisfacción para todos los presentes. En esta ocasión no tuve que salir a comprar un vestido con Andrea ya que todos iban a usar una franela de navidad diseñada por la academia, me encantó la idea y Andrea escogió el diseño que es el que les comparto aquí debajo y que tenía como referencia al instrumento que ella toca.

Estás franelas se las entregarían el día del evento, cuando llegamos, Andrea pidió la de ella y resulta que el diseño no era el que ella escogió, pues tenía un santa con una batería, la gerente me dijo que ella había pasado la información bien y que el error había sido de la empresa que las fabricó, que si quería se pusiera esa solo para la presentación, para que estuviera igual que sus compañeros y después se la quitara para hacer el cambio y así hicimos.

This day several things happened that did not allow the event to take place with total satisfaction for everyone present. This time I didn’t have to go out to buy a dress with Andrea since everyone was going to wear a Christmas flannel designed by the academy, I loved the idea and Andrea chose the design that is the one I share below and that had as a reference the instrument she plays.

These flannels would be delivered the day of the event, when we arrived, Andrea asked for hers and it turns out that the design was not the one she chose, because it had a saint with a battery, the manager told me that she had passed the information well and that the error had been of the company that manufactured them, that if she wanted to wear that one only for the presentation, to be the same as her colleagues and then take it off to make the change and so we did.

La locación, se nos había informado que seria en el centro comercial donde se encuentra la academia, no en el pasillo central donde hacen una cantidad de eventos que en ocasiones son de escuelas de otros lugares, sino que sería en el pasillo en frente de las instalaciones de la academia, de todas formas me gustó la idea ya que está cerca de mi casa, pero no me imaginaba que al final se iba a hacer dentro de las instalaciones de la academia, algo que fue muy incómodo para los presente, ya que solo habían unos bancos dentro del local y el resto de las personas se quedaron afuera donde no se escuchaba nada, mi hijo dijo que estaba viendo una película muda.

El caso es que la gerente se disculpó con todos los padres, madres y representantes porque después de haber pedido el permiso al centro comercial con anticipación no obtuvo respuesta y la solución fue hacer como a la final se hizo. Cómo nosotros llegamos temprano logré sentarme pero le dije a mi hijo que se quedara afuera para darle oportunidad de sentarse a otra mamá o abuela presente.

The location, we had been informed that it would be in the mall where the academy is located, not in the central hall where they do a lot of events that sometimes are schools from other places, but it would be in the hall in front of the academy facilities, anyway I liked the idea since it is close to my house, But I did not imagine that in the end it was going to be done inside the academy facilities, something that was very uncomfortable for those present, since there were only a few benches inside the premises and the rest of the people stayed outside where they could not hear anything, my son said he was watching a silent movie.

The thing is that the manager apologized to all the parents and representatives because after having asked for permission to the mall in advance she did not get a response and the solution was to do as it was done in the end. As we arrived early I managed to sit down but I told my son to stay outside to give another mom or grandmother present a chance to sit down.

Sacando las cosas que no me gustaron mucho, voy con lo que si y fue la presentación como tal. La jornada comenzó con una agrupación de gaita llamada Kandeloso, que a decir verdad tocan muy bien y tenían a los presentes aplaudiendo y bailando. Luego por orden de tamaño siguieron los niños del Kinder Musical quienes se destacaron cantando villancicos.

Apart from the things I didn’t like, I’ll go with what I did like and that was the presentation itself. The day began with a bagpipe group called Kandeloso, who played very well and had the audience clapping and dancing. Then in order of size followed the children of the Kinder Musical who stood out singing Christmas carols.

Luego llegó el turno de los tecladista y mi hija pasó de tercera. En esta ocasión todos los artista esperaron en sus aulas de clase o en la escalera hasta que fueron llamados a presentarse, cuando nombraron a Andrea casi se me sale el corazón pero cuando la vi sonriendo me di cuenta que estaba más tranquila que en julio que hasta lloró de los nervios, su profesor la acompañó con el cuatro.

La canción que tocó fue Mi Burrito Sabanero, también había practicado Fuego al Cañón que era una canción que tocaría con una compañera de teclado y un niño con el cuatro pero al parecer no llegaron a coordinarse bien y el profesor decidió sacar la canción del espectáculo, así que Andrea en esta ocasión solo tocóMi Burrito Sabanero

Then it was the turn of the keyboardists and my daughter was third. This time all the artists waited in their classrooms or on the stairs until they were called to present themselves, when they named Andrea my heart almost burst but when I saw her smiling I realized that she was calmer than in July when she even cried from nerves, her teacher accompanied her with the cuatro.

The song she played was Mi Burrito Sabanero, she had also practiced Fuego al Cañón which was a song she would play with a fellow keyboard player and a boy with the cuatro but apparently they did not get to coordinate well and the teacher decided to take the song out of the show, so Andrea on this occasion only played Mi Burrito Sabanero.

Después de tocar y antes de break, les entregaron unos cotillones de mano del Santa ho ho ho, un señor que hace caridad con el dinero que le pagan en esta época, pues él la dona a anticanceroso y personas con otras enfermedades. De este momento no tengo fotografías porque quedaron muy borrosas y prefiero no usarla aquí.

Otro momento emocionante y para sorpresa de nosotros fue cuando entregaron los certificados de aprobación a tres niños que se destacaron este año y pasaron del Modulo 1 Categoría Infantil Principiante para el Módulo 2 Categoría Infantil Nivel Básico y aquí nombraron a Andrea 🥳🥳, digo que fue sorpresa por que ni ella se lo esperaba ya que solo tiene en esta actividad desde mayo, lo bueno es que estaba feliz por qué subió de nivel.

After playing and before the break, they were given some cotillions from the hand of Santa ho ho ho, a man who does charity with the money he is paid at this time, as he donates it to anti-cancer and people with other diseases. I have no pictures of this moment because they were very blurry and I prefer not to use it here.

Another exciting moment and to our surprise was when they gave the certificates of approval to three children who excelled this year and went from Module 1 Category Child Beginner to Module 2 Category Child Basic Level and here they named Andrea 🥳🥳, I say it was a surprise because even she did not expect it since she has only been in this activity since May, the good thing is that she was happy because she moved up a level.

Durante el break decidí salir del local al igual que otras mamás, ya nuestros hijos había tocado y de esa manera otras personas también se podían sentar y disfrutar de los pequeños de la casa. Así que no pude ver el resto del parrandon. Por ultimo se nos envió por Whatsapp el certificado de participación en el Parrandon el cual podemos imprimir si es de nuestro deseo.

No todo fue perfecto pero disfrutamos de lo más importante que fue la participación de nuestros hijos demostrando todo su talento y trabajo. Así culminaron las actividades de Andrea en la academia musical, ahora hasta enero de 2024 que empiecen nuevamente sus clases.

During the break I decided to leave the place like other moms, since our children had already played and that way other people could also sit and enjoy the little ones of the house. So I could not see the rest of the parrandon. Finally we were sent by Whatsapp the certificate of participation in the Parrandon which we can print if we wish.

Not everything was perfect but we enjoyed the most important thing which was the participation of our children showing all their talent and work. Thus ended Andrea’s activities in the music academy, now until January 2024 when they start their classes again.
