Regalo de Navidad para mis hijos 🎁🎄Cómo ha cambiado desde que eran pequeños hasta ahora. [ESP-ENG]

Hola madres y padres de motherhood, no se si en todas partes del mundo será igual pero aquí en Venezuela la felicidad de un niño el 24 de diciembre es esperar el nacimiento del Niño Jesús y ver los regalos que les trajo. En otras culturas estos regalos son traídos por Santa Claus, Papá Noel o San Nicolás pero aquí es el Niño Jesús quien trae los regalos de los niños.

Hello mothers and fathers of motherhood, I don’t know if in all parts of the world it will be the same but here in Venezuela the happiness of a child on December 24 is to wait for the birth of Baby Jesus and to see the gifts he brought them. In other cultures these gifts are brought by Santa Claus, Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas but here it is Baby Jesus who brings the gifts for the children.

Cuando mis hijos estaban pequeños era emocionante verles la cara de felicidad cuando abrían los regalos y en oportunidades éramos más felices nosotros los padres porque estos regalos eran escogidos a nuestro gusto pensando que era lo que ellos querían. A medida que iban creciendo ellos escribían unas cartas con varias cosas que querían que el Niño Jesús les trajera, pero siempre se les aclaraba que solo 2 cosas de esas iban a ser las elegidas porque eran muchas. Así fueron aprendiendo que no se les iba a dar todo lo que pidieran.

Cuando se dieron cuenta de la realidad todo se volvió más fácil, porque se han hecho más conscientes de lo que pueden obtener y ya no hacen una lista larga. Nunca hemos querido dejarlos sin su regalo 🎁 de Navidad, todavía son unos niños, ahora ellos van pidiendo durante todo el año 🤣🤣 “para navidad quiero tal cosa” y muchas veces cambian de parecer, pero como padres los escuchamos y nos damos cuenta lo que en realidad quieren.

When my children were little it was exciting to see their happy faces when they opened the gifts and sometimes we parents were happier because these gifts were chosen according to our taste, thinking that it was what they wanted. As they grew up they would write letters with several things they wanted the Baby Jesus to bring them, but it was always made clear to them that only 2 of those things would be chosen because there were so many of them. This is how they learned that they would not get everything they asked for.

When they realized the reality everything became easier, because they have become more aware of what they can get and they don’t make a long list anymore. We have never wanted to leave them without their Christmas 🎁 gift, they are still kids, now they go around asking all year long 🤣🤣 “for Christmas I want such and such” and many times they change their mind, but as parents we listen to them and realice what they really want.

Este año pasaron meses pidiendo franelas de equipos de fútbol. Andrea quería la negra con rosado #10 del Inter Miami CF equipo donde actualmente juega Lionel Messi y Andrés quería la de Jude Bellighan # 5 del Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. Compramos las franelas a principio de diciembre pero las tenía escondidas en una caja dentro del closet esperando que en una búsqueda por saber si les habíamos comprado algo no las encontraran.

This year they spent months asking for soccer team t-shirts. Andrea wanted the black with pink #10 of the Inter Miami CF team where Lionel Messi currently plays and Andres wanted the Jude Bellighan # 5 of Real Madrid Club de Futbol. We bought the shirts at the beginning of December but I had them hidden in a box in the closet hoping that in a search to see if we had bought them something they would not find them.

El 25 de diciembre a las 12:00 AM cuando revisaron el pesebre no se veían los regalos porque los puse debajo del árbol y Andrea no los vio, de una vez dijo “Que tristeza” pero Andrés si buscó bien y encontró las dos bolsas, cuando las abrieron estaban eufóricos de la alegría, no les habíamos dado certeza que ese sería el regalo para que de verdad fuera una sorpresa, es más, no les habíamos dicho que les íbamos a regalar algo. Me encantó verlos tan contentos por su regalo y haber podido tener la oportunidad de complacerlos con algo que realmente esperaban pero que no sabían que se les iba a dar.

On December 25th at 12:00 AM when they checked the manger the gifts were not visible because I put them under the tree and Andrea did not see them, at once she said “How sad” but Andres looked for them and found the two bags, when they opened them they were euphoric with joy, we had not given them certainty that this would be the gift so that it would really be a surprise, moreover, we had not told them that we were going to give them something. I was delighted to see them so happy for their gift and to have been able to have the opportunity to please them with something they were really looking forward to but did not know they were going to get.

Todas las fotografías son del primer paseo con sus franelas nuevas al centro comercial, aquí les dije que modelaran y Andrea hasta sacó el pecho para que se viera bien su franela 🥳, están muy satisfechos con sus regalos y nosotros como padres estamos felices viéndolos felices.

All the pictures are from the first walk with their new flannels to the mall, here I told them to model and Andrea even stuck out her chest to make her flannel look good 🥳, they are very satisfied with their gifts and we as parents are happy seeing them happy.
