Hello Skin & Body Care friends, this is my first post in the community and I would like to tell you about the last purchase I made for the care of my face, but I would like to tell you everything about the choice of the product and then how has been my experience with its use.

It turns out that I started to feel my face with a lot of lack of moisture, and that lately I have been drinking a lot of water since it is getting too hot in the country, the thing is that I could no longer make up with my compact powder because I looked like I was losing my skin, something very similar to when we go to the beach and days later we begin to lose the dead skin by the sun. I immediately decided to buy a moisturizer.

Hola amigos de Skin & Body Care, esta es mi primera publicación en la comunidad y quisiera hablarles de la última compra que hice para el cuidado de mi rostro, pero quisiera contarles todo lo referido a la escogencia del producto y luego como ha sido mi experiencia con su uso.

Resulta que empecé a sentir mi rostro con mucha falta de humedad, y eso que últimamente he bebido mucha agua ya que está haciendo demasiado calor en el país, el caso es que ya no me podía maquillar con mi polvo compacto porque me veía como si estuviera perdiendo mi piel, algo muy parecido a cuando vamos a la playa y días después empezamos a perder la piel muerta por el sol. Inmediatamente decidí comprar una crema hidratante.

I went to a pharmacy near my house belonging to LOCATEL, one of the largest franchises in the country, where we can find medicines with medical prescription but also cosmetics, hair care products, skin care and a lot of other products for different uses.

My first choice and the one I was looking for was a Ponds moisturizer, but when I saw the price I realized that this would not be the cream I would take home that day, so I went to where all the products for the face were, and there were a lot of them, but the ones that attracted my attention were the moisturizers with chemical components that provide other benefits to my face and all the prices of these products ranged between three and five dollars.

Me acerqué a una farmacia cerca de mi casa perteneciente a LOCATEL, una de las franquicias más grandes del país, en ella podemos encontrar medicamentos con récipe médico pero también cosméticos, productos para el cuidado del cabello, de la piel y un montón de productos más para diferente usos.

Mi primera opción y la que estaba buscando era una crema hidratante Ponds, pero al ver el precio me di cuenta que esa no sería la crema que me llevaría a casa ese día, así que me fui hacia dónde estaban todos los productos para el rostro, y había gran cantidad de ellos, pero los que atrajeron mi atención fueron las cremas hidratantes con componentes químicos que aportan otros beneficios a mi rostro y todos los precios de estos productos oscilaban en tres y cinco dólares.

There was a moisturizer with collagen that I was very tempted to choose from as we know that collagen delays the signs of aging as well as diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, but next to it was another one with sunscreen 45+, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and also color corrector.

I immediately told myself that this was mine, as I spend many hours exposed to the sun and needed a sunscreen, not to mention that hyaluronic acid helps us retain water in the epidermis, it also fills wrinkles and niacinamide helps lighten dark spots on the skin. So this would be the cream I would buy, plus it was on discount and its price was almost $5, so it was within my budget.

Once chosen, I realized that the cream also served the function of a base for before makeup and was in three presentations, medium tone, transparent and without color. In this case I felt a little insecure and I got carried away choosing the colorless, which I now regret, I should have stayed with the light tone, but well for next time I know.

Había una crema hidratante con colágeno de la que me sentí muy tentada a escoger ya que conocemos que el colágeno retrasa los signos del envejecimiento así como que disminuye las líneas de expresión y las arrugas, pero a su lado había otra con protector solar 45+, ácido hialurónico, niacinamida y además corrector color.

Enseguida me dije que esa era la indicada para mí, ya que paso muchas horas expuesta al sol y necesitaba un protector solar, sin contar que el ácido hialurónico nos ayuda a retener el agua de la epidermis, también rellena las arrugas y la niacinamida ayuda a aclarar las manchas oscuras de la piel. Así que está sería la crema que compraría, además estaba en descuento y su precio quedaba casi en 5$, entonces entraba dentro de mi presupuesto.

Una vez elegida, me di cuenta que la crema también cumplía la función de base para antes del maquillaje y estaba en tres presentaciones, tono medio, claro y sin color. En este caso me sentí un poco insegura y me dejé llevar escogiendo la que venía sin color, cosa que ahora me arrepiento, debí haberme quedado con el tono claro, pero bueno para próxima ya lo se.

Ahora les voy a contar mi experiencia usando este producto.

The first few days I didn’t see results, my face felt the same when I was without makeup, for example, at night when I came in and washed my face, it felt dry. But during the day when I was freshly made up, I loved it because it makes the pressed powder adhere in such a way that now I feel that it covers imperfections more than before, that’s why I say that I regret not having bought it in a lighter shade. To remedy this what I thought about was buying another moisturizer just to put on at night, but I finally decided to give it a few more days to see how the cream behaved.

I have been using this product for 15 days and now I feel my face clearer, I can be without makeup and feel confident because I don’t see spots and it feels more hydrated. I also had no side effects such as irritation or acne, the only thing is that I have to be careful when applying it because if by chance I get it in my eyes, I know from my own experience that it will burn a lot.

Los primeros días no vi resultados, sentía mi rostro igual cuando estaba sin maquillaje, por ejemplo, en las noches cuando llegaba y me lavaba la cara, la sentía reseca. Pero en el día cuando recién estaba maquillada, me encantaba porque hace que el polvo compacto se adhiera de tal manera que ahora siento que cubre más las imperfecciones que antes, por eso digo que me arrepiento no haberla comprado en un tono claro. Para remediar eso en lo que pensé fue en comprar otra crema solamente hidratante para colocarla durante la noche, pero finalmente decidí darle unos días más a ver cómo se comportaba la crema.

Ya van 15 días usando este producto y ahora siento mi rostro más claro, puedo estar sin maquillaje y sentirme segura porque no veo manchas y lo siento más hidratado. Además no tuve efectos secundarios como irritaciones o acné, lo único es que debo tener cuidado a la hora de aplicarlo ya que si por casualidad cae dentro de mis ojos, por experiencia propia sé que me va a arder mucho.

So in my opinion it is an excellent product that I loved and recommend if you get to see it, I just hope that the next time I go to buy it I get it and I can buy the right shade for my skin, to use it as a makeup base in addition to all the other benefits of the product.

Así que en mi opinión este es un excelente producto que me encantó y que les recomiendo si lo llegan a ver, solo espero que la próxima vez que vaya a comprarlo lo consiga y poder comprar el tono adecuado para mi piel, para usarlo como base del maquillaje además de todos los demás beneficios del producto.
