Hola amigos, en mi casa tengo una pequeña huerta que hizo mi esposo con la tina de una lavadora, en ella tengo varias plantas medicinales que me han sido de gran beneficio, antes tenía una planta de Sábila o áloe vera pero la planta creció mucho y no dejaba desarrollar a las otras, así que decidí arrancarla ya que en otro lado de la casa hay bastantes de la misma. Hace aproximadamente un año llegué a la casa de una amiga y estaba cosechando jengibre de su jardín y como estamos tomando muchas infusiones por lo del covid 19 ella me regalo una planta para que yo sembrara y así lo hice. El jengibre tiene propiedades antivirales, antinflamatorias, analgésicas, sirve para las afecciones del aparato respiratorio como bronquitis y tos, también tengo malojillo o limonaria, es una planta que sirve para el resfriado, tos, malestares estomacales, es antinflamatorio y también para los dolores menstruales entre otros muchos beneficios, con estas plantas preparo infusiones para toda la familia.

About a year ago I arrived at a friend's house and she was harvesting ginger from her garden and as we are taking many infusions due to Covid 19 she gave me a plant for me to plant and I did so, ginger has antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties , analgesic, it is used for respiratory system conditions such as bronchitis and cough, I also have malojillo or lemongrass, it is a plant that is used for colds, coughs, stomach upsets, it is anti-inflammatory and also for menstrual pain among many other benefits, with these plants I prepare infusions for the whole family.

Esta tarde la dedique a limpiar mi huerta y a cosechar jengibre, todas las plantas estaban enredadas y fue lo primero que hice, separe todas las ramas para que cada una tuviera su espacio, arranque toda la maleza y para poder arrancar con mayor facilidad el jengibre con una manguera regué la tierra para luego con las dos manos poder arrancar la planta, esta salía con mucha tierra, traté de limpiarla para no perderla ya que es tierra abonada, deje unas pocas plantas solo las más nuevas para asegurarme que sigan creciendo y teniendo mas hijos, cuando termine de sacarlas estaba feliz con mi ramo en las manos.

En la batea o lavadero con la manguera lavé todo el jengibre, primero todos a la vez para deshacerme de la tierra que le quedó, luego uno por uno y con un cuchillo fui limpiando la raíz hasta que quedó muy limpia, de la misma manera hice con todas.

Termine de quitar la maleza en la huerta, trasplante algunas planta para como dije al principio darle su espacio a cada una, de verdad que quede muy contenta con el resultado, mis plantas quedaron muy lindas, se veían contentas de no estar todas enredadas como las tenia. Espero que no pase mucho tiempo para cuando pueda darles otro cariñito.
