[ESP-ENG] Reseña de una de mis películas favoritas. NO SE ACEPTAN DEVOLUCIONES. // Review of one of my favorite movies. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED.

Tenia días con ganas de volver a escribir en esta increíble comunidad, pero no había pensado en una película que me inspirara hacerlo, después de tanto analizar entre tantas películas que me gustan me decidí por esta hermosa producción “No se aceptan devoluciones”. Esta película provoca en mí una cantidad de sentimientos que pasan desde la alegría, incertidumbre, tristeza y diversión. Es como una montaña rusa de emociones, no es una película nueva ya que se estrenó en el 2013, la he visto más de 10 veces y creo que me la se de memoria pero de igual manera la sigo viendo y cada vez que lo hago son los mismo sentimientos, me río y lloro eso nunca cambia.

I had days wanting to write again in this incredible community, but I had not thought of a movie that would inspire me to do it, after analyzing so much among so many films that I like I decided on this beautiful production "No refunds are accepted" . This movie provokes in me a number of feelings that go from joy, uncertainty, sadness and fun. It is like a roller coaster of emotions, it is not a new movie since it was released in 2013, I have seen it more than 10 times and I think I know it by heart but in the same way I keep watching it and every time I do it they are The same feelings, I laugh and cry that never changes.

Esta película es protagonizada por el mexicano Eugenio Derbez además de ser el director y participar como guionista, también actúan Loreto Peralta, Daniel Raymont y Jessica Lindsey. Es una película mexicana donde se habla en Inglés y español, ese sería uno de los temas de la trama. Hasta el momento me he encontrado en la televisión dos remake de esta película una en versión francesa que se llama “Dos son familia" y una brasileña, las he visto las dos pero en serio me quedo con la original, no se pero las otras no me transmiten la misma sensación, será que estoy enamorada de la película?.

This film stars the Mexican Eugenio Derbez in addition to being the director and participating as a screenwriter, Loreto Peralta, Daniel Raymont and Jessica Lindsey also act. It is a Mexican film where it is spoken in English and Spanish, that would be one of the themes of the plot. So far I have come across two remakes of this film on television, one in a French version called "Two are family" and a Brazilian one. I have seen them both but seriously I am staying with the original, I don't know but the others are not. They convey the same feeling to me. Could it be that I am in love with the film?

Sinopsis

Bueno la película es la historia de Valentín (Eugenio Derbez) un hombre mujeriego, holgazán y cobarde al que cierto día le toca la puerta de su apartamento una de sus conquistas, Julie (Jessica Lindsey), con una bebé de nombre Maggie en brazos diciendo que es hija suya, le pide dinero para pagar el taxi y en vez de volver, ella se va dejando a la niña. En ese momento comienza el caos en la vida de Valentín ya que el no sabe que hacer con una bebé, pero gracias a la ayuda de sus amigos encuentra pistas sobre la vida de Julie, toma la decisión de ir a buscarla a pesar que no le gusta Estados Unidos ni el idioma oficial de ese país.

Well, the film is the story of Valentín (Eugenio Derbez) a womanizer, lazy and cowardly man who one day one of his conquests knocks on the door of his apartment, Julie (Jessica Lindsey), with a baby named Maggie in her arms saying that she is his daughter, he asks her for money to pay for the taxi and instead of going back, she leaves the girl behind. At that moment the chaos begins in Valentine's life since he does not know what to do with a baby, but thanks to the help of his friends he finds clues about Julie's life, he makes the decision to go look for her even though he does not tell her. Al llegar a Estados Unidos, todo se complica porque no encuentra a la madre pero tampoco se puede regresar para México con la niña ya que es ciudadana americana, y como es inevitable cuando se tiene un bebé cerca, el protagonista empieza a tomarle cariño a su hija, hasta el punto de quedarse en Estados Unidos sin saber inglés, al mismo tiempo conoce a Frank (Daniel Raymont) que será su amigo y quien le ofrecerá un trabajo donde se pondrá a prueba su valentía.

Con el pasar de los años Valentín demostrará lo que un padre es capaz de hacer por su hijos, de una manera comprometida, amorosa y dedicada, todo es puro amor y alegría hasta el momento en el que aparece la madre de Maggie (Loreto Peralta) con intensión de pedir la custodia y llevarse la niña. Esto se convertirá en una agonía para nuestro protagonista porque no quiere perder a su hija, pero él tiene un secreto que tal vez podría hacer que no le quitaran a Maggie, por otro lado, Julie también tiene un secreto. A partir de aquí la historia se convierte en un duelo de poder y amor. ¡Todos queremos que siempre gane el amor!

Conclusión

Es una de mis películas favoritas, como nos muestran el crecimiento de la niña y el cambio por el que pasa Valentín gracias al amor de su hija, las cosas que es capaz de hacer por ella y las que es capaz de dejar de hacer por la misma razón, es increíble, lo veo de manera personal y me doy cuenta que soy capaz de hacer muchas cosas por mis hijos, además, al ponerme en los pies del personaje y guardar un secreto que le destroza el alma todos los días es algo que siempre me entristece, nada más de pensarlo.

Una de las enseñanzas que me deja esta película es que ser valiente no es no tener miedo sino afrontar esos miedos, ya que Valentín pasa por ese proceso cada vez que va trabajar, tiene miedo pero de igual manera se arma de valor por su hija y hace lo que sea necesario por ella.

Conclusion

It is one of my favorite films, as they show us the growth of the girl and the change that Valentin goes through thanks to the love of his daughter, the things that he is capable of doing for her and those that he is able to stop doing for the For the same reason, it is incredible, I see it personally and I realize that I am capable of doing many things for my children also, by putting myself on the feet of the character and keeping a secret that destroys his soul every day is something that always It saddens me, just thinking about it.

One of the teachings that this film leaves me is that being brave is not not being afraid but facing those fears, since Valentín goes through this process every time he goes to work, he is afraid but in the same way he arms himself with courage for his daughter and he does whatever it takes for her.

Las escenas de comedia son estupendas siempre me hacen reír y no importa cuántas veces las vea, conocemos a Eugenio Derbez como un actor que se especializa en esta área de hacer reír, se nota que se le da fácil, pero en esta película me di cuenta que también se le da el drama y de verdad que le creí esa faceta de padre abnegado y sufriendo por su hija.

Ese final inesperado fue una de las cosas que me gustó porque no me imaginaba lo que iba pasar, por mi mente pasaban un montón de cosas pero nunca pensé que la película iba a terminar como lo hizo, de igual manera la sigo viendo por que me encanta toda la secuencia, aunque al final siempre lloré.

Comedy scenes are great they always make me laugh and no matter how many times I see them, we know Eugenio Derbez as an actor who specializes in this area of making people laugh, you can tell that he is easy on him, but in this movie I realized that also gives him the drama and I really believed that facet of a self-sacrificing father and suffering for his daughter.

that unexpected ending was one of the things that I liked because I did not imagine what was going to happen, a lot of things were going through my mind but I never thought that the movie was going to end as it did in the same way I continue to watch it for that I love the whole sequence, although in the end I always cried.
