Cuando estaba más pequeña practicaba ballet y danza (contemporánea, árabe y nacionalista) pero en un momento dijo que no quería ir, así que no la lleve más, lo mejor que podemos hacer como padres es dejar ser a nuestros hijos y no obligarlos a realizar actividades que no les gustan, este año empezó a manifestar que quería ser cantante, algo que yo no sabía que hacer para complacerla. Hace 4 meses pasé por la casa de la cultura del municipio donde vivo y pensando en ella se me ocurrió preguntar por la orquesta sinfónica, el cual me informaron que ya habían hecho audiciones y empezaban las clases en septiembre, pero la persona que me atendió me dice: la otra semana empiezan unas clases de cuatro y canto para niños, en ese momento pensé que era algo perfecto para ella, ya que quiere ser cantante, así que enseguida realice la inscripción.

Ya han pasado 3 meses y medio desde que inició sus clases, le compramos un cuatro la siguiente semana a la que empezó y siento que ha sido la mejor decisión que tomamos, estos tres meses ha demostrado mucha pasión por lo que está aprendiendo, ella se encierra en su cuarto a practicar las lecciones, se ha aprendido 5 canciones del folclore nacional (Llaneras, música venezolana) y yo me siento muy contenta y orgullosa de verla hacer algo que le gusta y a lo que le dedica tiempo (sin que la manden hacerlo), en tres meses ya en su cuatro toca y canta La vaca Mariposa, una canción de nuestro Tío Simón (Simón Díaz).

Me dice que esta muy nerviosa pero yo le digo que no tiene que estarlo ya que ha practicado mucho y lo hace excelente, ella no es la única nerviosa, yo también me siento así pero a la vez estoy feliz, porque cuando la llevo a sus clases la escucho cantando desde planta baja y me parece tan hermoso y que otras representantes comenten: la niña que está cantando si lo hace bonito, me llena de orgullo porque es mi hija la que lo hace. Espero después de su presentación poder mostrarles en video el talento de mi hija.
