[ESP-ENG] Beautiful dance costume for my daughter | Hermoso traje de danza para mi hija
Friends of hive, I am so happy to be here with all of you. I am happy to be here with all of you in this nice platform to share new creations that can serve as a guide for all of you so today I want to show you a little tutorial on how to make a dance costume. I made it for my little daughter Juliet, since she belongs to the dance department of the church and this costume was designed for all the dancers and look how it turned out. I really hope you like it a lot, so join me to see the step by step.

Paso 1: para hacer este traje vamos a necesitar dos telas diferentes. Una color dorada y una tela de malla brillante que hará semejanza a un tutú, usaremos una camisa de medida para cortar encima de la tela, y así pueda quedar a la medida exacta. Aquí ya tenemos las piezas de arriba de la camisa. Con un corte alto arriba y bajo detrás.
Step 1: To make this costume we will need two different fabrics. A golden color and a shiny mesh fabric that will resemble a tutu, we will use a measuring shirt to cut on top of the fabric, so it can be the exact size. Here we have the top pieces of the shirt. With a high cut at the top and low cut at the back.
Paso 2: procederemos a hacer un dobles en la parte delantera para tomar el ruedo de la tela en esta parte de la prenda, lo vamos a coser para luego unir la parte de atrás con la delantera. Atrás haremos algún tipo de arruche y quedará tal cual como la imagen lo muestra.
Step 2: We will proceed to make a double in the front part to take the hem of the fabric in this part of the garment, we are going to sew it and then join the back part with the front part. At the back we will make some kind of ruffle and it will be as the image shows.
Paso 3: así se colocará la elástica atrás para comenzar a coser y pueda quedar así como en la imagen. Luego comenzaremos a coser la malla brillante a la pieza de la camisa que ya tenemos cosida, es como tipo vestido solo que la parte de abajo es una malla brillante, queda muy lindo el resultado.
Step 3: this is how the elastic will be placed at the back to start sewing so it can look like in the picture. Then we will start sewing the shiny mesh to the piece of the shirt that we have already sewn, it is like a dress, only the bottom part is a shiny mesh, the result is very nice.
Paso 4: luego de haber terminado de coser la parte de la malla, comeremos una tira que irá en la parte delantera para amarrar la parte delantera al cuello, es un modelo súper singular y lindo. La verdad amé el resultado final, el traje queda muy lindo y pues las piezas que van abajo, el suéter y el monito ya yo se lo había hecho antes.
Step 4: after having finished sewing the mesh part, we will eat a strip that will go in the front part to tie the front part to the neck, it is a super unique and cute model. I really loved the final result, the suit is very nice and the pieces that go underneath, the sweater and the monkey I had already made it before.
