Looking forward to eating tostones [ENG-ESP]
The main ingredient in each of my meals is the love with which I cook that food; I put all my love and desire to make it delicious; then the other ingredients are incorporated. In Venezuelan homes we eat green or ripe plantains almost daily. The plantain is the companion of many meals. We can prepare it in different ways. You can also make plantain candy which is also a real delicacy. We can also make tortillas. Imagination and creativity in the kitchen is fundamental having this ingredient at home.
I am one of those mothers who likes to cook and please her son and family; I like to prepare something that they love to eat this time I prepared some tostones, this is one of my son's favorite foods. Besides that he had a few months without doing so I took the initiative to cook today at lunchtime some delicious tostones.
While I was frying the plantain slices my son was getting impatient because he was hungry; then I told him: calm down son, the hurry brings tiredness, leave the impatience that soon you will eat tostones made at home by your mother.
Mientras freía las tajadas de plátano mi hijo estaba todo impaciente porque tenía hambre; entonces le dije: calma hijo el apuro trae cansancio, deja la impaciencia que pronto comeras tostones hechos en casa por tu mamá.

Finalmente ya listos para comerlos. Recien sacados del sarten son más sabrosos porque estan calientes.

That smile on my son's face means a lot; I will always spoil him with his favorite foods.
