I have a nice tomato plant, which I forgot to show you earlier and which has already yielded two tomatoes so far:

This is one of the tomatoes. This plant is very delicate, as it grew, I had to put a stake in it, and tie it to it or between stems so that with the weight of the fruits, it would not fall and break.

There are two ways to harvest tomatoes, either you take the green tomatoes and wait for them to ripen in a dry environment, or you can also let them ripen on the silver, however you have to be careful with the birds that usually eat the fruits.

Now... let's look at cucumber plants.

Ahora... veamos las plantas de pepinos.

WhatsApp Image 2021-10-29 at 3.44.24 PM.jpeg

Yes, it already have cucumbers! As you can see, under the cucumber there is a flower, that is because in the process of this plant, first yellow flowers come out (which are sterile) and then these white ones come out, which is where the cucumbers finally come out.

WhatsApp Image 2021-10-29 at 3.44.23 PM (3).jpeg

In this picture you can see the yellow flowers that still remain on the plant. When the cucumbers are coming out, they have a kind of roughness that disappears as it grows. The gherkins are the cucumbers that are still small and are harvested from the plant before they are fully grown and the cucumbers are the fruit in their final stage of growth.

WhatsApp Image 2021-10-29 at 3.44.23 PM (4).jpeg

You can still see in this photo the roughness at the bottom. The yellowish leaves like those you see in the photo, should be cut from the stem as they are dying and take away properties from the rest of the plant.

When the cucumbers are this big, they can be harvested. Yesterday I cut some to make a salad but I forgot to take a picture of them.
