Working hard at school and going on to further education or college has long been encouraged by parents and teachers for generations, as most people believe education is the key to success.
Civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character — that is the goal of true education.” His words still ring true today.
