I Told Her to Stay, and She Did

I just told her, "stay there."

That's it. Because she's been so makulit today. Running everywhere, checking every corner, acting like she owns the whole house.

And she did. She stayed right there in the corner.

Sitting quietly, listening, like a little kid who got scolded but you can't really stay mad at.

That's her. Annoying sometimes, but mostly sweet. Sometimes you want to get mad, but one look from her and you're done. You just melt.

She's not perfect. But she's the reason coming home feels lighter. She's that quiet companion you don't even need to talk to. She just gets you.

I love her so much. Even when she's being a brat. Even when she's in her own little world. Because in my messy, noisy world, she's my peace.

She doesn't even know how much she helps me every day. She just stays. And somehow, that's enough to make everything okay again.
