Challenge: How I Met HIVE [ENG-ESP]

Hola Hivers, encantada de participar en ésta iniciativa de @rutablockchain para contarles Cómo conocí a HIVE.

LLegar a HIVE ha sido la respuesta del universo a un llamado de Auxilio!!!📢🔊

Para contarles cómo fue éste descubrimiento, debo ponerlos un poco en contexto. Soy mujer, mamá, profesional, venezolana que como muchos ciudadanos latinoamericanos, estaba buscando alternativas en internet que me permitieran obtener ingresos.

Me encontraba probando una opción que no me gustaba porque demandaba mucho tiempo y no me sentía del todo a gusto. En ese momento me dije que debían haber otras opciones y pedí al universo 💫✨ (literal) encontrar a alguien que me orientara en ese camino.

Arriving at HIVE has been the universe's answer to a call for help!!!📢🔊

To tell you how this discovery went, I must put you a little bit in context. I am a woman, mom, professional, Venezuelan who like many Latin American citizens, was looking for alternatives on the internet that would allow me to earn income.

I was trying an option that I didn't like because it demanded a lot of time and I didn't feel completely comfortable. At that moment I told myself that there must be other options and I asked the universe 💫✨ (literally) to find someone to guide me on that path.

1️⃣ ¿Cómo supiste de Hive?

Gracias a una nueva amiga 🙋.

En noviembre me gane una suscripción por un año en Platzi como parte de su programa de Becas, que otorgó en 2021 a 500 mujeres de diferentes edades, nacionalidadees, niveles de estudio y profesiones. Platzi creó un grupo en telegram ✈️ para las becadas, y me di cuenta que habíamos varias venezolanas, una de éstas chicas señaló que parte de sus ingresos venian del blockchain, se me activaron las antenas 📡 y le pregunte más.

1️⃣ How did you hear about Hive?

Thanks to a new friend 🙋.

In November I won a one-year subscription to Platzi as part of their Scholarship program, which they awarded in 2021 to 500 women of different ages, nationalities, study levels, and professions. Platzi created a group in telegram ✈️ for the scholarship recipients, and I realized that we had several Venezuelan women, one of these girls pointed out that part of her income came from blockchain, my antennae were activated 📡 and I asked her more.

Gracias a @arlettemsalase estoy en HIVE.

Le dije que había probado con webs de trabajos pero que no me había gustado y quería saber que era lo que estaba haciendo para tener ingresos vía internet.

2️⃣ Who first told you about Hive?

Thanks to @arlettemsalase I'm on HIVE.
I told her that I had tried job sites but I didn't like it and wanted to know what I was doing to make an income from the internet.

3️⃣ ¿Cómo te vendieron a Hive?

Me encantó la alegría de sus palabras al hablar del ecosistema, me explico lo que ella hacía y que realmente pensaba que podía gustarme.

3️⃣ How were you sold on Hive?

I loved the joy in her words when she talked about the ecosystem, she explained what she was doing and that she thought I might like it.

4️⃣ ¿Te dijo cómo registrarte?

La querida @arlettemsalase me envio audios, enlaces a varias guías de introducción a la blockchain, y me invito a un taller via telegram que dictó @laloretoyya donde explico TODO; qué es, cómo empezar, cómo publicar, consideraciones especiales sobre las fuentes e imágenes, en fin, todo para arrancar con buen pie en Hive.

4️⃣ Did she tell you how to sign up?

Dear @arlettemsalase sent me audios, links to several introductory guides to the blockchain, and invited me to a workshop via telegram given by @laloretoyya where I explain EVERYTHING; what it is, how to start, how to publish, special considerations about fonts and images, in short, everything to get off to a good start on Hive.

5️⃣ ¿Qué pensaste cuando te hablaron de Hive?

Era algo completamente nuevo para mi, nunca había escuchado de ésto, era un mundo por descubrir y estaba muy entusiasmada en hacerlo.

5️⃣ What did you think when you were told about Hive?

It was something completely new to me, I had never heard of it, it was a world to discover and I was very excited to do it.

6️⃣ ¿Cuál fue tu motivación para entrar en Hive?

No voy a negarlo, la motivación principal era como obtener ingresos 💰 por internet. Quería algo que estuviera alineado con mi forma de ser, con mis intereses; y me gustó por un lado que fuera la creación de contenido porque era algo que quería hacer, y por el otro que estuviera participando de una blockchain 🔗, ya que así podía aprender sobre la web 3️⃣ ▪️ 0️⃣ y la nueva economía que se esta construyendo.

6️⃣ What was your motivation for joining Hive?

I'm not going to deny it, the main motivation was how to earn income 💰 online. I wanted something that was aligned with the way I am, with my interests; and I liked on the one hand that it was content creation because it was something I wanted to do, and on the other hand that I was participating in a blockchain 🔗 because then I could learn about the web 3️⃣ ▪️ 0️⃣ and the new economy that is being built.

7️⃣ ¿Sabías lo que harías en Hive?

Desde el principio @arlettemsalase me explico que consistía en crear contenido de calidad para la comunidad, y que podía hacerlo de lo que me gustaba.

7️⃣ Did you know what you would do at Hive?

From the beginning @arlettemsalase explained to me that it was about creating quality content for the community, and that I could make it about what I liked.

8️⃣ ¿Viste difícil a Hive?

Difícil sólo antes de empezar a leer las guías, las explicaciones sobre el ecosistema. Ya luego he ido aprendiendo con cada publicación que hago y con las publicaciones que leo de los otros miembros de Hive.

8️⃣ Did you find Hive difficult?

Difficult only before I started reading the guides, the explanations about the ecosystem. Already then I have been learning with every post I make and with the posts I read from other Hive members.

9️⃣ Creíste lo que te decían de Hive?

Si lo creí, tiendo a ser abierta a recibir información, además me llego justo cuando estaba buscando qué hacer y también confie en mi compañera de Platzi, @arlettemsalase, sus palabras me sonaron muy sinceras y además me encaminó para iniciarme con buen pie e HIVE.

9️⃣ Did you believe what you were told about Hive?

Yes I believed it, I tend to be open to receive information, plus it came to me just when I was looking for what to do and I also trusted my Platzi partner, @arlettemsalase, her words sounded very sincere to me and also set me on the right path to get started on HIVE..

¿Y ahora qué?

Recien estoy dando mis primeros pasos, delante de mi, un mundo por descubrir, quiero compartir éste viaje con propios y extraños para que sus vidas sean mucho mejor.

What now?

I am just taking my first steps, in front of me a world to discover, I want to share this journey with my own and strangers to make their lives much better.
