[ENG/ESP] Ladies of Hive Contest #139: Achievements Realized, Not Dreamed.

    Good afternoon my dear HIVE friends, happy Thursday to all, a big greeting for the #ladiesofhive community, for this community contest #139, of this week, our beautiful friend @irenenavarroart brings us to develop topics of great interest, but the second was the one that caught my attention the most, because it is a fact that almost always happens in the lives of many and we stop to think about that achievement that came or that we reached but it was never a dream to fulfill.

Life is full of unfulfilled dreams but also of accomplished achievements that we had not dreamed of.

Tell us about a dream-come-true that you never thought you would do in your life.

    Always from a very young age we start to carry dreams that as the years go by we think we will achieve, we even set goals that are very difficult to achieve, but we never stop dreaming, even at the age I am now, being a woman over thirty years old, I still have dreams to achieve, but not the same as in my childhood and adolescence of course.

    To talk about that fact that came true but that I never dreamed of, I must talk about that dream that I had since I was young in the professional environment, which was fulfilled, but did not have the continuity I expected and from there, events occurred that led me to a different reality, which today after stopping to think about how the process was, I take it as a goal in development and that is going very well.

    Years ago as well as many, I dreamed of studying a college career and do many things based on it, and my example to follow was an aunt, who graduated in "LCDA in Education", and since she began to practice her career her life was improving, she and her husband remodeled their house, at the time she had her first promotion and her salary improved, having the way to buy her own car, then she became director at the institute where she worked, I was a witness of how she instilled respect just with her presence, since I studied high school in that same place, all that made me dream of someday being LCDA in education, and it was something that happened, but not everything was as I dreamed, the country collapsed economically, the salary was not at all the same for when my aunt worked, I said to myself, I achieved the goal I dreamed of, but the result is different.

An Achievement Realized, Not Dreamed.

    After insisting so much and not getting anything economically, I gave up and looked for other jobs, I no longer had a dream or a long term goal, my only objective was to get a job that would give me the opportunity to have a salary as consistent as possible with the situation of the country; That's how I got to the company where I am now, I started as a cashier, and that's how I thought I would be forever, although I was told that I had a chance of promotion, I did not take it as to dream based on that, I did not want to go through another disappointment, but I was willing to learn and do my job in the best way, just hoping to keep it and not be one more of the many people who were fired for simple mistakes, so I was for more than a year, until one day they called me to human resources, the first thing I thought was, "ready they fired me", but it was to tell me that I was selected to be promoted to cashier supervisor, it was something I never expected, but I accepted, from that day my focus changed, I had to learn much more, to assimilate the position and responsibilities I had, but even so I did not take it as a goal to continue climbing within the company, I just did my job.

    After a year and a half, they call me again to resources, and tell me that for my performance they approved me a salary increase plus a bonus, and from that moment my mentality was changing and more when a few months later, a month and a half ago, a commission arrives to the company to inform us that there will be certain changes, where some supervisors were taken into account for a new work team and new responsibilities according to the performance they saw in us, from that day we can say that I climbed a step further, since I was one of the selected ones.

    I never dreamed of this, it was not even in my plans when I started working there as a cashier, I just let everything follow its course without expecting anything; but now I stop to think about everything I have achieved in the company, seeing that they are taking me into account, the respect that the workers in my charge have for me, I can say, this is a great achievement not dreamed of, that has been fulfilled, that has given me benefits and opportunities that I never thought I would have; It was not my dream, but thanks to GOD, thanks to this job and everything I have achieved, I can make other dreams come true, more in the environment of a couple, home and family.

    Now that I think about it, everything has a purpose of being, the fact that our dreams do not turn out as we expect, is not because they will not be fulfilled, just that for different reasons the process has slight and big changes, resulting in part of what we dreamed, maybe even better than we imagined; For example, I wanted to be LCDA in Education, to live from my work, to have a nice home and to have comforts, you could say that I only change that now I am a Supervisor, but the rest remains the same, I still want to fulfill the rest of the dream, and if everything continues like this, it is something that can be achieved.

    Buenas tardes mis queridos amigos de HIVE, feliz jueves para todos, un gran saludo para la comunidad de #ladiesofhive, para este concurso comunitario #139, de esta semana, nuestra bella amiga @irenenavarroart nos trae para desarrollar temas de mucho interés, pero el segundo fue el que llamo más mi atención, porque es un hecho que casi siempre pasa por la vida de muchos y nos detenemos a pensar en ese logro que llego o que alcanzamos pero jamás fue un sueño por cumplir.

La vida está llena de sueños incumplidos, pero también de logros que no habíamos soñado.

Cuéntenos un sueño hecho realidad que nunca pensó que realizaría en su vida.

    Siempre desde muy jóvenes nos empezamos a cargar de sueños que a medidas de los años pensamos que iremos realizando, hasta nos trazamos metas que muy difícilmente llegamos a cumplir, pero jamás dejamos de soñar, incluso a la edad que tengo, siendo una mujer con más de treinta años, sigo teniendo sueños por lograr, pero no los mismos de mi niñez y adolescencia claro está.

    Para hablar de ese hecho que se hizo realidad pero que jamás soñé, debo hablar de ese sueño que desde joven tenía en el entorno profesional, que si se cumplió, mas no tuvo la continuidad que esperaba y partir de allí, ocurrieron sucesos que me llevaron a una realidad diferente, que hoy en día después de detenerme a pensar como fue el proceso, lo tomo como una meta en desarrollo y que va muy bien.

    Años atrás así como muchos, soñaba con estudiar una carrera universitaria y hacer muchas cosas en base a ella, y mi ejemplo a seguir era una tía, quien se graduó en “LCDA en Educación”, y desde que empezó a ejercer su carrera su vida fue mejorando, ella junto a su esposo remodelaron su casa, al tiempo tuvo su primer ascenso y su sueldo mejoro, teniendo las manera de comprarse su propio carro, luego llego a ser directora en el instituto donde trabajaba, yo era testigo de como infundía respeto solo con su presencia, ya que estudie la secundaria en ese mismo lugar, todo eso hizo que soñara con algún día ser LCDA en educación, y fue algo que paso, pero no todo fue como lo soñé, el país se vino abajo económicamente, el salario no era para nada el mismo para cuando mi tía trabajaba, me decía a mí misma, logre la meta que soñé, pero el resultado es distinto.

Un Logro Realizado, No Soñado.

    Después de insistir tanto y no obtener nada económicamente, desistí, y busque otros trabajos, ya no tenía un sueño o una meta a largo plazo, solo tenía como objetivo conseguir un trabajo que me diera la oportunidad de tener un salario lo más acorde posible con la situación del país; así fue que llegue a la empresa donde estoy actualmente, empecé como cajera, y así pensé que estaría por siempre, a pesar de que me dijeron que tenía oportunidad de ascenso, no lo tome como para soñar en base a eso, no quería pasar por otra desilusión, pero si me dispuse a aprender y a hacer mi trabajo de la mejor manera, solo esperando mantenerlo y no ser una más de las muchas personas que despedían por simples errores, así estuve por más de un año, hasta que un día me llamaron a recursos humanos, lo primero que pensé fue, "listo me botaron", pero era para decirme que fui seleccionada para ascender a supervisora de caja, era algo que jamás espere, pero que si acepte, desde ese día mi enfoque cambio, tuve que aprender mucho más, a asimilar el puesto y responsabilidades que tenía, pero aun así no lo tomaba como una meta para seguir escalando dentro de la empresa, simplemente hacia mi trabajo.

    Luego de un año y medio, me llaman nuevamente a recursos, y me dicen que por mi rendimiento me aprobaron un aumento de sueldo más un bono, ya desde ese momento mi mentalidad fue cambiando y más cuando a los pocos meses, ósea hace mes y medio atrás, llega una comisión a la empresa para informarnos de que habrán ciertos cambios, donde algunos supervisores fueron tomados en cuenta para un nuevo equipo de trabajo y nuevas responsabilidades acorde al desempeño que ellos veían en nosotros, desde ese día se puede decir que subí un escalón mas, ya que fui una de las seleccionada.

    Jamás soñé con esto, incluso no estaba en mis planes cuando comencé a trabajar allí como cajera, solo dejaba que todo siguiera su rumbo sin esperar nada; pero ahora me detengo a pensar en todo lo que he logrado en la empresa, viendo que me están tomando en cuenta, el respeto que me tienen los trabajadores a mi cargo, puedo decir, este es un gran logro no soñado, que se ha venido cumpliendo, que me ha dado beneficios y oportunidades que jamás pensé tener; no fue mi sueño, pero gracias a DIOS, gracias a este trabajo y a todo lo que he logrado, puedo hacer otros sueños realidades, más en el entorno de pareja, de hogar y familia.

    Ahora que lo pienso, todo tiene un propósito de ser, el hecho que nuestros sueños no resulten como esperamos, no es porque no se vayan a cumplir, solo que por distintas razones el proceso tiene ligeros y grandes cambios, dando como resultado parte de lo que soñamos, quizás hasta mejor de lo que nos imaginamos; como por ejemplo quería ser LCDA en Educación, vivir de mi trabajo, tener como construir un lindo hogar y tener comodidades, se podría decir que solo cambio que ahora soy Supervisora, pero lo demás sigue igual, sigo queriendo cumplir el resto del sueño, y si todo sigue así, es algo que se podrá lograr.
