How many BEE tokens are needed to start a community and a pool for it?

I am flirting with the idea of creating a community and some tools around it and I try to see how much funding I would need to start that. The option that I see is to start a community on Hive Engine and for that I know that I need BEE tokens. Thus, I have a question for all the BEE holders out there and beyond.

How many BEE tokens are needed to start a community and a pool for it?

100 BEE is required to generate a token. 1000 BEE is required for the staking feature. An additional 1000 BEE is required to activate the prize pool. 2500 BEE is required to create a frontend. You pay 1000 BEE for the liquidity pool. You pay 100 BEE to activate rewards in the liquidity pool.

Heavily depends on what options you choose.

  • 100 BEE for Token creation
  • 1000 BEE for Stake
  • 1000 BEE for Delegation
  • 5000 BEE for Outpost
  • 1000 BEE for DAO
  • 1000 BEE for Each Pool

I am certain I forget some fees. There are always more fees.

The Outpost is quite hefty. Isn't it open source in case someone can figure it out to set it up?

Well, the frontend is open source but not the included SMT contract that makes your token actually an upvote token with voting power etc. That is entirely operated by Tribaldex. At least I think so, might be able to do it yourself but you would need a good dev for that.

There are always more fees.

I find that to be true with most things in life lol :-D

I would not even be thinking about trying to start a community until I had at least 1,000 followers because of the fees involved although reasonable when compared to similar projects, but you will already want to have a strong following before you spend a single BEE on development.
