Do you get any % APR for holding your liquid Hive in Savings?

The Savings account on Hive blockchain can hold both HIVE and HBD. For HBD there is an interest rate of 12.00% APR (as voted by the Witnesses). It has a 3 days withdraw period and it makes the payments on a monthly basis.

On the other hand we have the option to send also liquid Hive to Savings, but I couldn't find any information if that will imply any % APR for it. So if anyone knows more about this subject any response would be appreciated.

It would be cool to have also for Hive some returns for holding in the Savings even if as low as curation, which is at the moment at approximately 2.89%. What I like about holding funds into Savings is that you can withdraw those pretty fast (3 days) and also they are somehow locked in case someone hacks your account. Simply it cannot touch your funds for a period of time.

I believe the answer is no.

I transferred 1 HIVE to savings as part of the tour on hivebuzz. It's still 1 HIVE.

I guess it's just there as a security feature.

Yeah, would have been great to get some APR on it. But still, instead of keeping it as liquid and someone grab it for free, better hold it in there.

No, you don't.
The "Hive Savings" is a security account where you can store your liquid HIVE and requires 3 days to pull them off.
This prevents your assets from being transferred away instantly should your active key be compromised.
