Greetings my dear community, it is a pleasure for me to participate in the Ladies of Hive #138 Contest, dedicated to our parents.
If you had a loved "father figure" in your life (father, grandfather, uncle, family friend, employer, etc.) and would like to acknowledge him with a story, we'd love to hear it!
Yes, fortunately I enjoyed my father until he was 108 years old. My father, a healthy and good man, founder of "Caicara del Orinoco", Cedeño municipality of Bolívar State, Venezuela, was born in a "conuco" on an unknown date, he was registered in the already large town and the date of his birthday was always symbolic.
My dad's name was Luciano, he married my mom when she was 19 years old and I am the seventh of 9 siblings.
At first they lived in the countryside, but over time they moved to the town and ended up being founders of that town on the banks of the river that we love so much and where our family has expanded.
My daughters and grandchildren have grown up walking its streets and I actually got married there in Caicara del Orinoco. !
My father was a man of docile character and skilled in business, he had farms, fields and a large farm called "el brujo". He was always present in the lives of all of us his children.
When we began to graduate from high school, he settled permanently in Caicara with a business that continues to this day. !
Dad lived a long and healthy life, he died of natural causes and in peace, surrounded by all the love, pampering and care of all his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In my experience, a present father is the best thing that can happen to a family. My parents were married 85 years. My life was always full of stability, love, protection, brotherhood and union.
That's why he celebrated you father and all the fathers present today.

Saludos mi querida comunidad, es un placer para mi participar en el Concurso Ladies of Hive #138, dedicada a nuestros padres.

Si, afortunadamente disfruté de mi padre hasta sus 108 años.
Mi padre un hombre sano y bueno, fundador de "Caicara del Orinoco", municipio Cedeño del Estado Bolívar, Venezuela, nació en un conuco en una fecha desconocida, fué registrado en el pueblo ya grande y la fecha de su cumpleaños siempre fué simbólica.
El nombre de mi papá era Luciano, se casó con mi mamá cuando ésta tenía 19 años y yo soy la séptima de 9 hermanos.
Al principio vivían en el campo, pero con el tiempo se mudaron al pueblo y terminaron siendo fundadores de ese pueblo a la orilla del río qué tanto amamos y donde nuestra familia se ha expandido. Mis hijas, nietos han crecido caminando por sus calles y yo de hecho me casé allá en Caicara del Orinoco.
Mi papá era un hombre de carácter dócil y hábil en los negocios, tuvo fundos, campos y una gran hacienda llamada "el brujo".
Siempre estubo presente en la vida de todos nosotros sus hijos. Cuando empezamos a graduarnos del liceo, se estableció definitivamente en Caicara con un negocio que perdura hasta hoy.
Papá tuvo una vida longeva y saludable, murió de causas naturales y en paz, rodeado de todo el amor, mimos y cuidados de todos sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos.
En mi experiencia, un padre presente es lo mejor que le puede suceder a una familia. Mis padres estuvieron casados 85 años. Mi vida siempre estubo llena de estabilidad, amor, protección, hermandad y unión.
Por eso te celebro padre y a todos los padres presentes de hoy en día.
