Greetings ReggaeJahmers,

If you've been following my posts you may have noticed that I try to document my journey on Hive and celebrate the milestones to encourage myself to keep going. In This post marks the crossing of another milestone and I made some some Jamaican food that coincided with the timing of this post so I decided to share that as well.

Celebrating a Milestone

Our reputation has been growing slowly but this weekend we are celebrating reaching a reputation of 63. It took us quite a while to get here so we are happy and look forward to the next reputation level.Much respect to our supporters for your upvotes.

This weekendwe had the urge to have some Jamaican jerk chicken so we washed some chicken breast with lemon 🍋 juice, chopped it up on the cutting board, placed it in a zip lock bag, added seasoning including some mild walkerswood jerk seasoning.

After that I gave the bag a good shake and put it to marinate a bit at the bottom of our fridge.
Being Jamaican, I have made other posts about preparing a similar dish before but this time we made a mashed potato 🥔 and carrot 🥕 salad and added a few slices of cucumber 🥒 as well. This was a simple dish but it was delicious... at least that's what my wife said while asking for seconds.

I like how the carrots give the mash potatoes an ice cream 🍨 kinda vibes. Can’t go wrong with jerk chicken.

Big up in the 63 rep. It took some people years to reach that so I think you are above average.

Regarding blockchain milestones, I have been experimenting with NFTS on opensea as it is the biggest market place and managed to post a couple photos and a song. I plan to to the same on Hive based platforms but I think it’s also important to spread wings. Here is a link so you can take a peak

Thanks @shanibeer. Yeah the salad was so delicious. That was actually my first time making this particular salad.
I was happy with how it turned out.

I was just yesterday thinking that I don't have all the ingredients at home to make jerk seasoning, and now I see this. I'll take it as a sign that I should go out and buy those ingredients asap.

Hahahaa we had leftovers from the freezer today, which was surprisingly still delicious and very welcoming so that we didn't have to cook for today.

Hey, how's spring break in Japan? I've seen in movies and YouTube videos that it's a big thing in the USA.

Thanks @tanjakolader. It's usually a time to view cherry blossoms and have picnics with friends and family under cherry trees. Not sure to what extent that will be possible this year.
