Convenient Coffee Vending Machines in Japan

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting in the Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community. I go by the name bearmol and I'm a Jamaican currently living with my family in Japan. In this post I'll be sharing a few pictures of decorative lights in Japan as well a coffee vending machine I saw recently at a popular shopping mall in Kobe Japan.
Product Display Board
This board displayed the prices and varieties of ice/hot beverages available just like the ones in a regular coffee shop.
Coffee Machine

This particular machine was located at the entrance/exit of a major shopping mall connecting to a multistorey parking. There were other vending machines there as well but this was the only machine that served beverages in paper cups. Since it's winter and the night was so cold we decided to have a cup of hot cocoa. This particular machine also serves matcha flavored coffee.

True to my promise I'll also share a few pictures that I took by the connecting shopping mall which is located near the waterfront in Kobe, Japan. The pictures were taken with an android phone. Enjoy some of the night views of my city.

The mall has beautiful decorative lights every winter. Shoppers can enjoy viewing the decorations while shopping.

I haven't seen machines like that here yet, only the standard coffee vending machines in offices. But if they had these, I'd definitely be back each day to try all the flavors.

Happy New Year bro. The cocoa I had was just right. Holding the cup also helped to keep my hands warm during the cold and windy night.

Thanks for thE warm welcome. I'm happy to know that I was the 1000th subscriber. I hope I can contribute to the community in some way especially through content.

I may not be the best writer but I'm open to critique and guidance. Should I fall short of the group's standards at any point please let me know.

Hello @bearmol,
It's great that there is an English translation to operate the buttons for tourists. Although Japan is famous for some "comedy translations" on evening machines.
The Japanese do love their coffee, and it's marvellous that you can pick up a great tasting, good quality coffee even in tiny sachets such as the Drip On ones.
I'm sure those from the vending machines were awesome too.
I do like the architectural designs of that Shopping Mall and the lightings too. It gives the place a nice airy and spacious look.

I appreciate the welcome and support for the community's 1000th subscriber. Thankfully the translations have improved over time and so have the number of stores with English speakers(especially in big cities).
I do agree that there are many coffee lovers here too I was surprised to learn that more than 80% of Jamaica's Blue Mountain coffee has found a market here. Of course there are many Cafés all around.
I forgot that you have an eye for architectural designs. I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Yes, I know that Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is big in Japan, as Japan is a big importer of some Jamaican products, and appreciation of the music too.
