This is Alysha going to share my first book review on Hive. I like to read story books in my leisure time. Although I don't read much English story books. But I really enjoyed reading the book that I will review today

Let's start...

At first I want to clarify the meaning of the word Outliers. Someone or something that differs from any other set of people or things is called an outlier.

Outliers is a very compelling and wonderfully written book by Malcolm Gladwell. He brought many success stories of different people who have achieved great success in their work field.

He mentioned how the people of Roseto lived longer than the average people around them by being habituated in a manner that others didn’t. Their food habit was different than other city dwellers. Also, they had a unique environment that helped them stay healthy.

Canadian-hockey-example was an eye-opener. Bringing a lot of statistical data, the author showed us how a birth date affects someone's hockey career. If a child is unfortunate to be born one day before January, he or she has to wait a whole year to get admitted to the clubs where others are admitted after a certain age. As a result, most of the former ones lag lacking a year of practice.

10,000 Hour Rule was one of the core concerns of this book. Malcolm Gladwell pictures examples of Mozart, a great music composer; Bill Gates, Microsoft Boss; The Beatles, a famous English rock band; so on and so on... . One thing was common in their lives. They have, at least, spent 10,000 hours practicing heart and soul in which they truly desired to do. And fortunately, they got added advantages from many different parts in that course of their lives. The author describes it unbelievably engagingly that you will be astonished to get a flavor of fiction in a non-fiction book.

This book also contains some psychological and cultural facts regarding success. You will see how legacy plays a vital role in a person's life in this wonderfully weaved.
