Various benefits of traditional herbal Turmeric Tamarind

Ingredients:

  • 8 Pieces of turmeric
  • 4 Pieces of aromatic ginger
  • 3 Pieces of ginger
  • 5 Tamarind
  • 2 Lemongrass stalks
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 4 Stalks of basil leaves
  • 5 Pieces of palm sugar
  • Salt
  • Water

Steps to make:

Clean all the spices.

Grate turmeric, aromatic ginger, also ginger until smooth into a container.

Enter the tamarind, lemongrass, bay leaf, palm sugar, basil leaves, and a little salt.

If everything has been put in a container. Then add water and boil the mixture of all ingredients.

If it's boiling, turn off the heat and let it cool down, or you can drink it while it's still warm.

In making herbal medicine this time, my mother did not use tamarind and only used the ingredients listed above because she did not have time to buy tamarind. The ingredients used are plants that my mother planted herself. For the manufacture of this herbal medicine, it is better to use tamarind so that it tastes more delicious. You can also add honey to minimize the strong turmeric taste.
