Futuristic pond

I want to share with you one drawing that made me work hard.

I wanted to depict a pond with fallen leaves floating on its surface.

I like the places where the willows tilt their branches to the water, in such places I like to cast a line and fish.

What could be easier than drawing pond water ... just take blue or green paint, depending on which pond you want to portray. But it's not that simple.

I wanted to depict transparent waters, a not very deep pond, the shadows from the light play of the waters of which appear at the bottom of the pond.

Blue paint will help us only at the initial stage.

Now, I needed to strike the texture of the water and shadows at the bottom of the pond. It turned out to be a time-consuming process and I will not load you with numerous sketches, this is how I saw this water.

Now, I wanted to see the willow branches, yes, they are not green, this is a futuristic willow, lol.

A futuristic willow tree should have futuristic leaves floating on the surface of a futuristic pond.
