Round number 4 - Show me Birds!

20191206083021.jpg

Greetings, friends!

I ask you to look in the sky, I'm sorry, just look up to where the title of this post is.

There, you will not see birds, but, you will see that, from today, the prize pool of each competition is quadrupled.

230 tokens, this is what I can stop at and keep this amount, at any rate of this coin.

I wish you that each coin would cost several thousand dollars!

I hope that the bull market will visit the bear market soon.

So, due to the fact that the amount of the prize fund is becoming significant, I have to ask you to strictly abide by the rules that you will read below. They did not change, but, now, they will be unshakable.

Try to provide a meaningful description of your photo. Visitors should be interested in reading your notes.

I love both artistic and documentary photographs, but I’ll have to make a choice in favor of those photographs which, at my discretion, will be raisins in a bun, or pearl in a gold frame.

This may be your artwork, or, a wonderful, unique moment.

It usually takes me a few minutes to edit a photo, believe me, it's worth it.

Friends, good luck in the competitions!

Today, I want to see a lot of birds, but before that, I want to congratulate the winners of the third week.

Today, we have the winners of the competition of the third week!

Dear @bonp, he showed me a beautiful, musky duck that looked like an adult turkey. This is a very cute bird. Great shot!

This time I hope to do it right and not to be late.
I have started series of posts about swans. Swans are regular visitors on our Black Sea coast in winter months where they arrive from Northern Europe. They are graceful and amusing and it is a delight to be close to them. One sunny day I have the pleasure to spend some time near several swans and to make zillion photos. Usually if the weather permits there are many people but luckily this time, there were just few and I had clear view for my shots.

So here is my entry with the photo of two swanlings (how the young birds are called).

Swallows are unique creatures. In the summer they come to our widths to nest. They lay their eggs and hatch them. When the little ones hatch, they have an almost transparent pink body. But after two months they are ready to fly. When they learn to fly, they are ready to embark on a long journey south.

I saw this beautiful brown Pelican while traveling around America i do think it was on the coast line of California first time i had seen this majestic bird so big and beautiful a man was actually feeding this Pelican fish as if it was his big pet bird. They say the brown Pelican can be found on the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf Coasts. On the Atlantic Coast, it can be found from North Carolina south to Venezuela. On the Pacific Coast, its range stretches from Southern California to Chile. After nesting season, it can be found as far north as British Columbia and Nova Scotia. It is one of three pelican species found in the Americas and one of two that feed by diving in water.

This is what i believe is the great black backed seagull, mistakenly called greater black backed seagull by some it is the largest member of the seagull family. It mainly breeds on the European and North American coasts lines.
