ZOOM WORSHIP SERVICE. 03-09-2021

Here is a summary of what I learnt yesterday.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Lord's protection is for us not to perish until we reach eternal perdition.

He promised not to abandon us, and we should not abandon him either. We should love him, and he will keep us.

We were taught to love God rather than abandon Him because He had promised to keep us. The laws of God must be obeyed by us.
We are to preserve the Word of God in our hearts, which means that the Word of God is alive in our hearts and that we are obeying God's commandments.

Romans 10:4
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

The law comes to an end with Christ. When you maintain God's laws in your heart, you're also keeping Christ in your heart.

2 Corinthians 13:5 (NIV)
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

That is why we must examine ourselves in order for Christ to dwell fully in us. That's why the Bible says, "I have preserved your Word in my heart so that I will not sin against you."
