ZOOM MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY6. 13-09-2021

Here is a summary from what I learnt.

When the righteous prays, they is great benefits and heaven react speedily.

James 5:16-17
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months

So before we pray, we must ensure that we are on right standing with God.

Psalm 32:5
5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

We must confess our sin first to God, and then to the person that we have wronged. We are not to confess our sin to our priest or anything other person.

They are two kinds of sins

First sin unto death

Secondly sin not unto death.
As Christians, we have a responsibility to pray for a brother who commits a non-fatal sin.

We must not take any harm done to us personally in the church of God.

1 Peter 4:8
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

When we pray, we do not need to engage in vain repetitions because God already knows all of our needs.

Matthew 6:7-8
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

God delights in the prayer of the righteous, thus while we pray, we must also verify that we are diligently following God's beliefs.

Proverbs 16:8-9
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps

Both on earth and in heaven, God has formed His home.
God's house is called the church. The home of God is designed to be a place of prayer.

Isaiah 56:7
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
