My introduction post to Hive Blog

Greetings from me to all Hivians. Trust you all are doing good and safe wherever you are reading me.

PREAMBLE

I'm a proud newbie here on hive Blockchain. So having gone through all the guidelines required of every hive newbie, I decided to pen down my introductory post so y'all get to know me better.

ABOUT ME

I'm simply known as Barns Barnabie. I was born and brought up in quite a provincial territory specifically in Benue State North Central region of Nigeria 🇳🇬, Western Africa.
From a family of 6. I had both my primary and secondary education in my state of origin.
I'm currently residing in Rivers State where I'm undergoing my tertiary institution precisely Polytechnic education, mass communication as a course to be precise.

MY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

As a student studying mass communication, I developed this deep feeling of reading and researching because indeed knowledge is versatile.
I love blogging also though it hasn't been long I created my two websites https://www.barnsb.wordpress.com and https://blessedbetobarns.blogspot.com before I discover this Hive blogging site which turned to be my best blogging site.
I barely spend much of my time in the front TV because the little time I have, I utilize it the best way such as learning different skills as a craft and art lover because I simply love sketching and drawing.

Also, I'm an introvert and love spending my precious time doing things with my hands. I love traveling and visiting new places in due seasons and I'm a great lover of music precisely afrobeats and as well, football.

TYPE OF CONTENT PEOPLE SHOULD EXPECT FROM ME

People should look out for tech contents( I love writing about technology the simple tricks and hacks and as well, the drawbacks of some technologies), art and craft contents with steps and steps tutorials and as well, motivational contents from me.
I also love sharing how I spent my day in the form of diary to people.

WHAT VALUE I CAN BRING TO HIVE

First off, I think it will be of much value if I chose to invest my not selling liquid hive this soon for the purpose of investing for better tomorrow. This in turn will help the hive grow if anyone decided to adopt this method.
At least the little knowledge I have I promise to share it with all hivians and I think that will add an inch to many people's lives. Like I said earlier, I love publishing tech contents and would share the art and craft skills I've gained all hive users.
I devote special time for research while alone, either through reading or surfing the web in other to come out with something new.

HOW I DISCOVERED HIVE

One a not-so-good day while I was so much bored and never knew what to kill boredom with, I decided to surf the web as usual and just then, an idea came to me to search for website that pays in cryptocurrencies for publishing contents.
I've been doing series of researches on websites that pays in fiat currency but most turned out to be fake and some even scammed me so i decided to search for website that pays in cryptocurrencies and that was how I got to know of hive and others such as steemit, appics etc. This all happened early last week and because I don't have someone to help me through on how to create account, I found it quite difficult.

Every time I try to create account with hive I got a pop up that IP address not found and this kept happening to me. I tried all I could. I even went as far as searching for hive on Facebook, I found some groups and joined with the hope of asking members about the solution to having difficulty in creating hive account but no one replied either my comment on their post or inbox message.
I never gave up that easily. I continued unboxing members and finally found a friend who replied to me immediately and offered to help me as you can see in the screenshot of our chat.

With his help, I got to discover that hive has not just one frontend which I've been trying to create account with to no avail. He recommended some other ones for me such as ecency, hiveonboard etc and even shared the ecency app link to me. After much direction, I finally created account on hiveonboard successfully on Thursday last week and he advised me to download and keep my keys safe that hive does not recover lost keys and password. His name is Francis, it would have been good if I mention his username here only if know.

CONCLUSION

After creating hive account since last week Thursday, I've been going through the guidelines and I've read everything required of every newbies which includes keeping engagement, abstaining from plagiarism, following people, using the right hashtags, keeping safe of give keys and password etc. And as per, I decided to make my first post today.
Hoping to obey all the dos and donts guiding this platform do as to make it a better place.
