Greetings to all members of #hive-naija community.

It's my pleasure taking part on this wonderful contest with the title: if you had two choices: blue pill or red pill organised by the @hobe-naija which happens to be my first post since joining this noble community. Hope I'm welcomed.

Preamble

Talking about choice (making a choice), it's it has to involve a decision, an option to select something out of two or more.
Now, this contest title is indeed top notch in the sense that it involves, intact it's all about "life". A participant is asked to make a choice out of two, either to take a
Blue pill which will enable them bring back their most cherished person who passed on or the red pill which will enable them to live forever. It'll make sense to me if this short forward include my choice which is "taking the blue pill".

Why the Blue Pill

First off, as obvious as it is, red is dangerous colour that, an untempered-with colour that I need to avoid. Smiles

There are lots of other reasons why it's better to bring someone back to life than seeking to live long which even sounds selfish and also not self-sacrifice as instructed by our Lord Jesus.
Apart from wishing to see a loved one who passed away so painfully, in as much as the holy God warned against judging others also the dead because of their behaviours wether or wether not to inherit the kingdom of God, yet there are some people who died that base on their behaviours while alive, we doubt if they can inherit God's kingdom. On this, I think it'll make sense bringing such people back to life for at least another chance of repentance.

One other reason why I can take the blue pill is that, seeking to live forever is simply choosing to be and live the life of the world, that which Jesus also warned us. The world that's do wicked, that which also requires one to sacrifice his/her life for one's pleasure.

More on the disadvantages of living forever

I surmised everlasting boredom by choosing to live forever. This is so obvious in the sense that, people will die as time lingers and you'll be left alone in your so-called world, you can imagine the level of boredom.
Soon, humanity will start evolving beyond you as your memories with people fade.

Backing up my choice

The human mind we've got is so corrupt to the point we do think someone will love so much will someday, somehow pass on. This is why we tend to neglect sharing the best moment with them while still alive.
At least everyone wish to bring back a love one to life some other persons even wish to give their lives in replacement to lost love one but since only God giveth life we've left with no other option . This is why it will make sense if we start treating everyone as though they are going to die thr next day, an urgent call for show of love.

Brief story of my lost loved one which I would bring back to life if given an opportunity

I'm glad for this contest, at least this is another opportunity to remember her

Her name is Felicia Uaave, was a student of the foremostCollege of education (COE), Katsina-Ala, Benue State Nigeria.

Felicia Uaave

This girl's relationship with me was just mere best friend as fondly called today Bestie. She was born and brought up in quite a provincial environment I mean, she was from an average family.
Even so, she was a good girl to the core, very respectful and understanding, humble and contented, soft spoken type and intelligent as well. We both share secrets that not even our parents or lovers are aware of.
We attended same secondary school even though she was my senior and graduated before me.

After pursuing for her desired course of study precisely BioChem for couple of years, she finally got admission and started going to school.
Everything was going perfectly fine until her second semester's break in 200 level while at home, we were chatting as usual and she started telling how she wasn't feeling too well but promised to be fine.

About 3 days later she repeated the complain with much seriousness and again laughed over it, I even made jokes about it just to cheer her up, assuring her that it's just growth and development.
The following morning, I logged in to Facebook account and noticed she was online but never cared to call and ask why she isn't online. I decided to explore my timeline and the first post I came across was that of her friend with very much confusing caption with her (my friend's picture). It was indeed confusing, with crying emojis and this is what made me to put a call through.
Dialled my friend's number and it rang, about 5 seconds of ringing, somebody picked the call and I noticed it wasn't my friend's voice but a woman's, it was her mother. After greetings, I asked her How's Kwaghdoo as I use to call her, also told her that I saw a post that's confusing to me that's why I'm calling to know what the problem is. Momma gathered courage and told me Felicia is dead. Lol 😃.

Conclusion

Present 3 pills to me, tell me 1 is for me to live forever and it's very sweet to tske while the other 3 or more is to bring someone back to life but it's very bitter and watch me run with the bitter pills.

Best wishes to us all great friends
