MONOMAD: Crown Flower

The crown flower, or Calotropis gigantea, is a large shrub flower that grows among bushes with white or lavender flowers. The petals of the corolla have a green color. Each flower has a pointed petal in the shape of a pentagon. This is a target for insects. I don't know why insects like the crown flower, even though this flower doesn't have a strong smell.
Some crown flowers are my entry today for the daily #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.
