Back in the past!

I think everyone has a past and a source. Every story in the past life is sometimes forgotten. But the pictures are still evidence and reminders of my identity. I might be an old who always thinks about the past and things that happened. Then I can live comfortably like today, in childhood I had to go through many hardships.
I was born in Chaiyaphum Province, Northeastern region of Thailand. I have 3 siblings including me. My father passed away when I was only 15 years old. My mother had to raise me and my younger siblings with difficulty. We all have families now and we rarely get to see each other. We only see each other once a year to make merit for our dead father, so it's a happy and memorable time.
To make merit for the dead, we will invite monks to make merit at home. Villagers who know the news will come together to help cook and arrange things that will be needed for making merit. After the ceremony, everyone will have a meal together.
สวัสดีคร้าาาาา.... บัวคิดว่าทุกคนมีอดีตและที่มา ทุกเรื่องราวในอดีตบางครั้งก็ลืมเลือนไปบ้าง แต่รูปภาพยังคงเป็นหลักฐานและย้ำเตือนถึงตัวตนของเรา บัวอาจจะเป็นคนแก่ที่มักจะนึกถึงอดีตที่ผ่านมา และเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้น กว่าที่จะได้ใช้ชีวิตได้อย่างสบายเหมือนทุกวันนี้ ในวัยเด็กบัวต้องผ่านความทุกข์ยากมากมาย
บัวเกิดที่จังหวัดชัยภูมิ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศไทย มีพี่น้อง 3คนรวมทั้งบัวด้วย พ่อเสียชีวิตเมื่อบัวอายุเพียง 15 ปี แม่ต้องเลี้ยงต้องเลี้ยงดูลูกๆ ด้วยความยากลำบาก ตอนนี้ทุกคนก็ต่างมีครอบครัวและแยกตัวไป ทำให้ไม่ค่อยได้เจอกัน เจอกันแค่ปีละครั้งเพื่อทำบุญให้พ่อที่จากไป จึงเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งความสุขและน่าจดจำ
วันที่ทำบุญให้พ่อก็จะนิมนต์พระสงฆ์มาทำบุญที่บ้าน ญาติพี่น้องและชาวบ้านที่รู้ข่าวจะรวมตัวกันช่วยทำอาหาร และจัดเตรียมสิ่งของที่จำเป็นสำหรับการทำบุญ หลังเสร็จพิธีทุกท่านจะรับประทานอาหารร่วมกัน

Guess I am old enough to keep thinking the past in my life now, yes the pictures always help to recall your memory of you past, thanks to the technology our record will not fade away when we are getting older or our memory is getting worse.
My situation is similar to you, I have one elder sister but we grew up in the single family, my dad had a second wife was I was 6 or 7 then he dumped us to marry the other woman backward that time, my mom had to struggle raise my sister and me till I graduated from the college, and my asshole dad pass away when I was 23, I was surprised I ended cried when I know he's gone, I thought I would have no feeling on his death as I have blur memory on him, you know, I was too small when he left from our family.
Are we old? If it wasn't old, there wouldn't be many stories to think of like this.😜 When I was young, Saturday and Sunday I have to go work for hire in a farmer to earn money to buy underwear by herself because the family didn't have money to buy them. But after that time, I realized how much hardship taught us to endure.
Can't deny we are getting old now.
Yeah, maybe, we won't grow up with out tough and difficult time.
I think it's really good that the family come together for these ceremonies paying respect to loved ones. It helps to remind us that our time is finite, and that we must learn to see through the hardship and live life as best as we can, just as our parents, their parents and so on, did.
And it's good to make the link between us deeper and stronger, I'm lucky that my sisters are always here for me as I am always here for them.
