Meta is more likely to build the everything app than Elon

Although not a lot of people are aware, most especially crypto Twitter because weirdly, most people on Twitter don't happen to be a fan of Facebook and the other companies under Meta. However, monetization is something already present on this platform, this is via the launch of purchasable stars that individuals can reward to content creators, and if one pays more attention, reels are actually taking off and Facebook native video contents has seen great exposure since restructured to compete with TikTok.

The Large audience Meta has enabled it to build just about any type of monetization into the system, if that place was to become more flexible in terms of allowing the free flow of contents like pornographing, I'm certain it would grow even larger. All of this happens with less cost to the company as though the value flowing to creators are directly from individuals and not the company, so there's no cutting of ads revenue to incentivize creators, that would be bad business since they already don't have to struggle to gain users.

The Interoperability Of All Socials

Although many are not paying attention, Mark is looking to merge all the social networks under Meta in a way that individuals have more exposure and can easily navigate the platforms. As it stands, there's already reels available on Facebook which are natively hosted on Instagram, some months back there was the release of WhatsApp community which is simply a way to incentivize people to build a larger network of users.

Integrating a payment system is what's left to really take this shit off, there's literally already a marketplace for selling products which I believe Meta needs to run some serious updates on how it should run as there's a lot of scams there already. Anyways, as we all know, Mark had plans to launch a currency, this was Diem but was beat down by the authorities, this does not mean it's over, Mark will still find a way to build that shit out in a way that it will appear as virtual dollars when it really isn't.

As of today, Mark has introduced "Facebook Premium" which will get people verified checkmarks for $11.99 per month, while for iOS platforms, the price is $14.99 per month. As per reports, this will include a monthly 100 stars given to the subscribers to tip content creators but however, these accounts will not be able to change sensitive data on their profile like profile name, username, date of birth, or their picture without reapplying for a Meta Verified subscription and undergoing the process once more, as stated by Meta.

Just a couple of months back, Facebook had redesign its profile pages to look like Twitter and also launched professional mode to enable individuals track their content performances, lots of people have so far migrated to professional mode, I'd personally say that Mark should have made this feature a "paid feature" as it is something crucial for content marketers and people would definitely pay to get this data.

That said, with Mark, Meta ain't sleeping on this social media battle, Twitter users are not really into all these tips or monetization in general, at least I've noticed that they're more interested in building connections on the app, I mean, the Bitcoin tipping feature didn't get widely adopted so that was a sign. Regardless, it's going to be a tough battle and it's cool seeing Hive compete with LeoFinance leading the charge with the release of alpha.leofinance.io, whoever emerges the winner in terms of most utilized social network won't be a problem, the fact that there will always be options is where we have value in this shit.

Thank you and please leave a comment, your thoughts matter to me

Well for me I think the rule is s bit to stiff as changing data becomes a bit difficult on the Facebook. And also the price is too high compared to what twitter is charging . and in this battle of socials meta should first try as much as they can to explain things before moving to the next 🤷🤷🤦🤦🤦. and the professional mode shouldn't be charged for it's a bio data that's supposed to be allocated to us duely we choose how to spend our data , I'm sure they're getting huge fat check from our network providers. They also need to show us reasons to stay on the app every single day.

This is for protection, if Verified users can easily change these data, a lot of scams can be carried out at ease, the way I see it. If you look at Hive, it's basically the same thing, you cannot change your username, it's a security measures that not many understand.

And also the price is too high compared to what twitter is charging.

The thing is, Twitter isn't Facebook, Facebook is much larger, so you can't expect the same charge.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "bio data" in this context, however, we don't own anything on a centralized media. The set of data I was referring to isn't something we can actually claim rights over, if anything, Facebook owns this because it's basically a part of their usage statistics, so if someone were to able to have access to everybody's analytics, that would mean knowing Facebook usage Sats and that as we know is confidential.

Monetizing that would have been the easiest way to capture value and perhaps use that value streams to monetize creators contents.
