A Very Important Message [FIL/ENG]

Hello Hivers! @baby.magic here, back again with another funny story that will surely put a smile on all yo' faces.

So let's get to it.

The Text

In Filipino:

Nanonood ako ng TV habang si Mama naman ay naghuhugas ng plato. Oo alam ko, ako dapat naghuhugas. Eh, naunahan ako ni Mama eh. Papunta na sana ako ng kusina para maghugas ng plato pero nandoon na si Mama kaya nanood na lang ako ng TV.

Habang nanonood ako ng TV biglang tumunog ang cellphone ni Mama. Inisip ko baka importante kaya tiningnan ko. At hindi ako nagkamali, importante nga. Kaya sinabi ko kay Mama,

"Ma, may text ka. Importante daw!"

"Pakibasa nalang anak, kita mong naghuhugas ako dito eh." sabi ni Mama.

Sabi ko naman,

"Okay! Basahin ko para sa'yo ha."

"Okay, sige anak!" sabi ni Mama.

At binasa ko ang text,

"Hello, ka-TM! Dahil IMPORTANTE ka gusto ka naming pasayahin sa pamamagitan ng mga bagong promos na handog namin sa'yo..."

[May lumipad na baso.]

"ARAYKOPO!"

"Puro ka kalokohan! Akala ko pa naman kung ano na." sabi ni Mama.

"Eh, sabi dito importante daw eh! Masakit yun ha." sabi ko.

"Buti nga sa'yo!"

Isusulat ko dapat 'to sa English kaso quota na ako sa Comedy Open Mic eh. Kaya ganito nalang, tingnan natin kung gaano kagaling ang Google translate.

In English:

I was watching TV while Mama was washing the dishes. Yes I know, I should be washing. Eh, Mama preceded me eh. I was about to go to the kitchen to wash the dishes but Mama was already there so I just watched TV.

While I was watching TV, Mama's cellphone suddenly rang. I thought it might be important so I looked. And I’m not mistaken, it’s important. So I told Mom,

"Mom, you have a text. It seems important!"

"Please read son, you see I'm washing here." Said Mama.

I said,

"Okay! I'll read it for you."

"Okay, go ahead son!" Said Mom.

And I read the text,

"Hello, ka-TM! Because you are IMPORTANT we want to make you happy with the new promos we offer you ..."

[There are flying glasses.]

"OUCH!"

"You're pure nonsense! I still thought what was it." Said Mama.

"Eh, it says it's important! It hurts." I said.

"Good for you!"

Ang galing ng translation, napaka-accurate. Hindi ko tuloy alam kung matatawa ba ako sa istorya ko o sa translation ni Google.
