Hello friends! I'm going to tell you about how our vacation fever is now in our belts, step by step :))) I'm laughing but it's not funny. I'm not going to sit and cry at my age :))) Besides, I have to be strong to comfort my old friend, otherwise he is ready to collapse. It's like a mysterious introduction. I will put an end to this mystery and move on to our Kusadasi vacation plan, which we went to close the season.

Merhaba arkadaşlar! Size şimdi tatil hevesimizin nasıl adım adım kuşağımızda kaldığını anlatacağım. :)) Güülüyorum ama bu komik değil. Gülmeyip de ne yapayım? Oturup ağlayacak değilim ya bu yaştan sonra. :)) Hem yaşlı arkadaşımı teskin edebilmek için dirayetli olmam gerekiyor. yoksa o çökmeye hazır. Gizemli bir giriş gibi oldu. Hemen bu gizeme son verip, sezon kapanışı yapmalım diye gittiğimiz Kuşadası tatil planımıza geçiyorum.

My old friend told me that he hasn't been swimming this year. However, his work is not that busy. At first I was angry with him for this. But when he explained the reason for not going on vacation as loneliness, I felt sorry for him. Not everyone is like me, they can go to the sea alone, swim like a hippopotamus and chat with empty beer cans :)) Since I was already looking for an opportunity to go to the sea, I squeezed a 3-day gap between my work and planned a vacation.

Yaşlı arkadaşım, bu sene hiç denize girmediğini, söyledi. Halbuki işi gücü o kadar da yoğun değil. Bunun için önce ona kızdım. Fakat, tatile gitmeme sebebini yalnızlık olarak açıklayınca bu duruma üzüldüm. Herkes ben değil ya tek başına denize girip, su aygırı gibi yüzüp, boş bira kutularıyla muhabbet edebilsin. :)) Ben de zaten denize girmek için fırsat kolladığımdan, işlerimin arasına 3 günlük bir boşluk sıkıştırıp tatil planı yaptım.

Since we decided to go to my friend's mother's summer house in Kusadasi, we planned the holiday during the week on the advice of my friends @crysis and @sezermehmet who live there. We set off with our car this Tuesday afternoon. It is close between Izmir and Kusadasi. It is about 100 km and takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on your driving. We drove slowly to make the road more enjoyable. Since I was driving the car, I just watched my friend drinking beer :))

Arkadaşımın annesinin, Kuşadasındaki yazlığına gitmeye karar verdiğimiz için orada yaşayan arkadaşlarım @crysis ve @sezermehmet ‘in gönderilerindeki yorumlarıma tavsiyeleri üzerine tatili hafta içine planladık. Bu Salı günü öğleden sonra aracımızla yola çıktık. İzmir-Kuşadası arası yakın. yaklaşık 100 km ve sürüşünüze göre 1-1.5 saat kadar sürüyor. Biz yolu da keyifli hale getirmek için yavaş yavaş gittik. Aracı ben kullandığım için arkadaşımın bira içişini izlemekle yetindim.:))

Problems started as soon as we entered Kusadasi. First the traffic jammed. Since we were already on vacation and we were not in a hurry, we didn't mind this too much. Later, when we went near the house, we saw that there was road work in that area. Although we took all the side streets to reach the front of the house, we couldn't reach it because there was work on all the roads in front of and around the house. So we parked our car at what we thought was the closest point to the house and walked for about 10 minutes with bags in our hands and bags on our backs. Finally we reached the house, the road in front of which was completely dug up.

Kuşadası’na girer girmez sorunlar başladı. İlk önce trafik sıkıştı. Zaten tatilde olduğumuz ve acelemiz olmadığı için bunu çok sorun etmedik. Daha sonra evin yakınına gittiğimizde, o bölgede yol çalışması olduğunu gördük. Evin önüne ulaşabilmek için bütün ara sokaklara girmemize rağmen, bir türlü ulaşamadık. Çünkü evin önündeki ve etrafındaki bütün yollarda çalışma vardı. Biz de arabamızı, eve en yakın nokta olduğunu düşündüğümüz yere park edip, elimizde poşetler, sırtımızda çantalarla 10 dk kadar yürüdük. Sonunda önündeki yol tamamen kazılmış olan eve ulaştık.

When my friend tried to open the door, we saw that there was no lock on the door and we realized that a burglar had entered the house. We struggled a little bit to open the closed, unlocked door, because, to put it crudely, they had blown the core of the door. In the meantime, we hoped that even if they had blown the core, they would have tried as hard as we did and maybe they heard a noise and couldn't enter the house. But they did.

Arkadaşım kapıyı açmaya yeltendiğinde, kapıda kilit olmadığını görüp, eve hırsız girdiğini anladık. Kapalı olan kilitsiz kapıyı açmak için biraz uğraştık. Çünkü kaba tabiriyle, kapının göbeğini patlatmışlardı. Bu esnada, göbeği patlatsalarda bizim gibi uğraşmışlardır ve belki o esnada bir ses duyup eve girememişlerdir diye umut ettik. Fakat girmişlerdi.

When we went inside, it was a disaster. They had turned the house upside down and destroyed everything. All the furniture had been moved. They had removed all the electrical wiring and faucets and stolen the two TVs in the house. Since my friend has diabetes, I immediately called the police and went to the nearest grocery store. After making sure he had something to eat, we put the beach chairs among the scattered items in the house on the quiet road in front of the door because it was difficult for vehicles and people to enter, and we sat and waited for the police to arrive.

İçeriye girdiğimizde karşılaştığımız manzara, tam bir felaketti. Evin altını üstüne getirip, her yeri her şeyi mahvetmişlerdi. Bütün eşyalar yerinden oynamıştı. Evin bütün elektrik tesisatını ve musluklarını söküp, evde bulunan iki tane Tv’yi çalmışlar. İkimiz de bu manzara karşısında hareketsiz kaldık. Arkadaşımın şeker hastalığı olduğu için hemen polisi arayıp, en yakındaki bakkala gittim. Bir şeyler yemesini sağladıktan sonra evdeki dağınık eşyalar arasındaki plaj sandalyelerini kapının önündeki araç ve insanların girmekte zorlandığı için sakin olan yola koyduk ve oturup polislerin gelmesini bekledik.

As soon as the procedure was over, we left, almost running. If it were up to me, a trip to the sea would do us both good. But in a situation like this, that's out of the question. The best thing is to get away immediately. We didn't even stop to take a picture of the sunset view we saw on the way back. It was so beautiful. The crimson sun was sinking into the sea like a ship slowly sinking into the sea. Along with the sun, we were sinking too...

İşlemler biter bitmez, neredeyse koşarak oradan ayrıldık. Bana kalsa, bi denize uğrasak ikimize de iyi gelirdi. Fakat böyle bir durumda bu teklif yapılamaz. En iyisi hemen uzaklaşmak. Hatta dönüş yolunda gördüğümüz, Günbatımı manzarasının fotoğrafını çekmek için bile durmadık. Oysa ki çok güzeldi. Kıpkırmızı olmuş Güneş, ufukta Denizin içerisine yavaşça batan bir gemi gibi gömülüyordu. Güneşle birlikte, biz de batıyorduk…
