Unexpected Escape: To Breath, Laugh, And Relax
"I'm staying on track, but got sidetracked by the flock for half a day..."
'Twas another fine day to be the focused and motivated self that I promised to be this year. It was going well actually. Somehow, I've been adjusting to that work-college-personal-side-hustle life where I had been struggling for over a year, in which gave a few crisis in life while I'm embarking this journey of mine in college. I was quite feeling under the weather but I could still function well aside from I have to take a moment to cough out my irritated throat. Water therapy is the method I choose to cure this over synthetic drugs, it gradually lessens but as a disadvantage, I have to take trips to the bathroom.

I've survived the first half of the day, the other half would be easier by then. Unexpectedly, I got a call from a friend saying that we'll have lunch together in front of our campus, and I can go back afterwards since the company is just few minutes away. No matter how focused I am for that day, unexpected things still kept on coming by. After lunch and I'm already waiting for a ride back to the company, my flock of friends came and merrily greeted me and exchange hugs and kisses on the cheeks. They were jumping for joy as we were all reunited once again after the long vacation since Christmas. Well, good for them; they have a vacation while I have to occupy myself fending for myself but that's okay anyway. :>
Their vibes was a like a strong magnetic field and I'm the only one who have an opposite wherein drives me to be strongly attracted. I followed inside the campus to claim their ID validation sticker for the second semester. Without any second thoughts, I went with their plan to visit the sea and skip my work in the whole afternoon.
This is the first beach that you can encounter here at Bacolod going in the Barangay proper of Punta Taytay; this is our haven when all else fails and when all our dreams came true. To unwind, relax, revitalize, and replenish the used up energy in our cores. The sand here is more refined and cleaner than the other part of the shoreline where trashes were everywhere and the private beach owners aren't maintaining there areas.
That's why Pierce and @breepickledoodle were too eager to walk around and soak their feet on the waters.
On the other side, I was just here sitting in an abandoned vehicle tire taking pictures of all the angles that could satisfy the windows of my soul, listening to the waves, and taking cover from every blows of the wind. Well, it hurts, aside from its strength, it also comes with those fine black sands.
No wonder I snapped a heart-shaped glimmers of the sun through the leaves of this small tree, 'cause I'm surrounded by couples here and I feel like singing the song Cupid by Fifty Fifty at the time.
Stay strong, lovebirds!
Yet, it seems like the wind didn't like having sweet couples there and it keeps on attacking us. We transferred to another area with lesser people. We found an area where the sand are blacker than the other portion of the shore. As expected, they are Magnetite! We have heard that back then, they were illegally sold and when the government discovered the scheme, it was instantly prohibited.
Initially, the two pair of couples wanted to have a race carrying their girlfriends, but Pierce intercede and dance in between as the referee. Instead of starting the race, we all laughed at him. He was also playing sand and trying his best to build sand castles. Every time he failed, he'll throw the sand at Joshua's legs. They both wrestle in the sand and we have a heartily laugh watching them wrestle and running away, then one will catch the other. When caught, they'll wrestle again. After they have calmed down, they were both full of sand all their body but still laughing while cursing each other. The true friends! 😅
As the afternoon comes to a nearing end, we transferred once again to another shore area, stayed there patiently waiting for the beautiful sunset before going home. It was already 5pm and @blip-blop's home is residing in Murcia which is an hour ride from the city, so he and @breepickledoodle went home first. The three of us were left to wait for that picturesque moment.
