Honesty
Honesty means speaking and acting truthfully. Honesty does not contain lying or deceiving. It is the main source of trust and it is the only key in social relationships. Which gives everyone hope and confidence in decision-making. I believe that honesty can improve mental and physical health. I also think that dishonesty can increase negativity in life. Honesty is an essential thing for social progress and development around the world. Because truth is a great way for progress and dishonesty creates greater problems.
Dishonesty can lead one to lose the trust and interest. I have always liked when people said the truth in-front of my face. Even though the truth might be harsh I still wanna hear the truth. I have always disliked when someone was being dishonest with me even though for my own good. I always have felt betrayal when someone was dishonest with me. It felt like they don’t respect me at all they don’t care about my feelings. They can do whatever they want as like I am nothing to them. I also feel that they got far distanced from me at the moment when I find it out that whatever I believed was a lie. I don’t know how to explain it but I feel lots of stress and sweats whenever this kind of things happen.
I don’t think being dishonest is a good way to cooperate with things. There are many alternative ways if one door is closed. I would never suggest anyone to be dishonest with anyone or even themselves. Sometimes, we see the truth in-front of ourselves but we are too afraid to lose things so we avoid the truth and start being dishonest with our own self. But in this process we end up facing the truth one day and hurt ourselves which completely shatters us. I can still remember those days I have been through. It felt like it was a nightmare because I didn’t want to face it.
Once I saw one of my classmate bullying my one friend. Then when the teacher came and saw this situation the teacher got mad. Those who were bullying my friend they ended up blaming my friend for this situation. At that moment the teacher had a scale on his hand and was about to hit him with it. However, I stopped the teacher and told him the truth about what actually happened then he got furious and punished the two boys who were bullying my friend. Later on my friend thanked me for helping him out in this situation.
Once I had an argument with the bullies and he asked everyone not to speak with me. The argument was about one of these bullies had a crush on me and he always tried to disturb me everywhere. Even though I rejected him he kept on disturbing and I complained to the principal. They also tried to blame me for something I did not do. But my that friend who I had helped before he knew all of it. He did not bother to defend me at all. I was surprised how he has changed also he stopped talking with me. Later on, during break time he came and said he can’t be friends with me anymore because the bullies will bother him if they see him with me. He also apologised for not standing up for me but his dishonesty towards our friendship got me very anxious. I was not feeling good at all as I didn’t expect him to turn out like this.
It was a horrible experience which I never want to face again. That’s why I like honest people more who only cares about telling the truth and not hide like coward. I like it when someone takes a stand for me if they know I am right. I would not expect anyone to support me when I am wrong because I would like to have their guidance to the right path.

Honesty is indeed an ageless value✨
You've mentioned ways you've helped friends by being honest and how you have been hurt by a friend's dishonesty. It is really sad, I must confess. When people lie to your face, don't stand up for you when they are expected to. There's always a big hint of betrayal in it.
I am sorry about your friend, and I do hope he one day grow up to be stronger so he won't make the sake mistake over and over again.
