Nuestra historia de Amor…

Natalia y yo nos conocimos en República Dominicana mucho antes del 2006, cuando ella y su familia fueron por todo un verano a Sosúa mi pueblo natal. Para esos tiempos, Puerto Plata era uno de los centros turísticos en Republica Dominicana aunque ya empezaba a perder su esplendor de años anteriores.

Por suerte para nosotros, la playa de Cabarete era y sigue siendo un excelente lugar para hacer deporte en la plata como el Kitesurfing, Windsurfing y Surf, lo que llevó a sus padres a elegir esta zona para disfrutar ese verano.

Nosotros nos conocimos el International School of Sosúa. Yo tenía que tomar clases ese varano para aprender el inglés y ella vino con sus hermanos a tomar las mismas clases en donde empezó nuestra amistad. En desde que tuve con fianza con ella y sus hermanos me ofrecí a mostrarle la zona a mis nuevos amigos.

Ese verano aprendí más Inglés que podía imaginar. Por lo menos eso pensaba yo, porque muchos años después Natalia me contaría que no entendía casi nada de lo que yo le decía, pero que era divertido escucharme.

Años más tarde, nos volvimos a encontrar en Madrid. Yo fuí porque mi abuela me llevó para estudiar y trabajar lo antes posible, y ella para hacer un año de intercambio para aprender español.

Natalia y Awildo se conocieron en el año 2006, cuando ella viajó a República Dominicana como voluntaria para una ONG. Él era un guía turístico que la acompañó en sus visitas a diferentes lugares del país. Desde el primer momento, hubo una conexión especial entre ellos, una mezcla de atracción, curiosidad y admiración. Natalia quedó fascinada por la alegría, el carisma y la pasión de Awildo, y él se enamoró de la inteligencia, la belleza y la bondad de Natalia.

Así comenzó una historia de amor que superó las barreras del idioma, la cultura y los kilómetros. Nos hemos escrito postales, hemos chateado por msn, enviado cartas de amor, enviado mensaje de texto, nos hemos escrito por whatsapp, nos hemos taggeado en las fotos en facebook, nos hacemos historias en las redes y ahora nos llamamos por videollamada. Cual será la nueva tecnología que vamos a hacer juntos?

Obviamente estoy muy metido en Hive y la Web3, pero ella aun no está así que poco a poco le cuento de las cosas que léo aquí para ver si se motiva y me acompaña en esta aventura también.
En estos años, nuestra familia ha crecido. Tenemos 3 niñas a las cuales les intentamos educar con dos culturas diferentes la Dominicana y la Eslovaca al mismo tiempo.
Nunca celebramos día de San Valentín ni aniversarios. Intentamos vivir lo mas felices posible a nuestro estilo. Nos justa el café, hacer deporte y la aventura de ser padres.

Si quieres ser feliz con una persona, quíerela tal como es y no deje de ser tu mismo. Ahh, y el sexo debe estar siempre presente 🙂

Our Love Story...

Natalia and I met in the Dominican Republic long before 2006, when she and her family went for a whole summer to Sosua, my hometown. At that time, Puerto Plata was one of the tourist centers in the Dominican Republic, although it was beginning to lose its splendor from previous years.

Luckily for us, Cabarete beach was and still is an excellent place to do sports in La Plata such as Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, and Surfing, which led his parents to choose this area to enjoy that summer.

That summer I learned more English than I could imagine. At least that's what I thought because many years later Natalia would tell me that she didn't understand almost anything I said, but it was fun to listen to me.

Years later, we met again in Madrid. I went because my grandmother took me to study and work as soon as possible, and she went to do a year of exchange to learn Spanish.

Natalia and Awildo met in 2006 when she traveled to the Dominican Republic as a volunteer for an NGO. He was a tour guide who accompanied her on her visits to different parts of the country. From the first moment, there was a special connection between them, a mixture of attraction, curiosity, and admiration. Natalia was fascinated by Awildo's joy, charisma, and passion, and he fell in love with Natalia's intelligence, beauty, and kindness.

Thus began a love story that overcame the barriers of language, culture, and kilometers. We have written postcards, chatted on MSN, sent love letters, sent text messages, written to each other on WhatsApp, tagged each other in Facebook photos, made stories on social networks and now we call each other by video call. What will be the new technology we are going to do together?

Obviously, I'm really into Hive and Web3, but she's not here yet so I'm slowly telling her about the things I read here to see if she'll get motivated and join me in this adventure too.
In these years, our family has grown. We have 3 girls whom we try to educate with two different cultures, the Dominican and the Slovak at the same time.
We never celebrate Valentine's Day or anniversaries. We try to live as happily as possible in our own way. We love coffee, sports, and the adventure of being parents.

If you want to be happy with someone, love them as they are, and don't stop being yourself. Ahh, and sex must always be present🙂
