Hey, Hivers!

I wanted to share this little story with you. It's a little intense. Here we go:
Ever since I started in music and theatre, I've left my body and soul on it, blood, sweat and tears, lots of hours of intense rehearsals, and all that stuff.
Everybody has high hopes on their own job, don't you?
Well, it seemed like there's people who doesn't had to put any offer to succed, like they didn't even had to take it seriously, so I begin to wonder... "What am I doing wrong?" because no door seemed to be open for me.

Frustration landed and I got even more frustrated every day. The more stuff I learned, the more I felt undervalued, and believe me, feeling like you're getting things just because of people's shame, is even worse than no getting anything.
And it happened with a bunch of things. Anyway. Just like someone told me a couple days ago "I feel you, I'm just like you, things don't come easy for you and me, like for the others" and for the first time, I felt like I was not alone.
The thing is, I started to link a couple of events in my journey, and I realized that, in fact, yes, I had achieved stuff, but I just let them go, I noticed all those things I succeded in, I got them by myself and no one else.
And that's how I ended up understanding that, yes, nothing comes easy for me (for some weird divine reason), and that I should never stop trying, and if it doesn't work... well, it will if I do it on my own. I'm not gonna just sit around waiting to be knocked out by a stroke of luck.
A couple weeks ago, I heard about some online auditions for a musical, a disco version of The Wizard of Oz.
Of course, some of my friends were called to make the casting before they placed an open audition, and of course, I wasn't included in that privileged list.
After feeling a little down about it, I beging to think, and just waited for the open call, just trust myself and do it on my own.
Surprisingly, a couple days ago, I received a message by the casting director, my audition made it through the first auditions filter. I made it. And I will continue to :)
So, I'm gonna show you my audition. I'm more than proud of myself, and I wanted to share this achievement that's so so so important for me with you :D

I promise to keep telling you how this story develops.
Thank you for reading!
