Trunks, sculptures and sunbeams.
It is winter and although it is not very cold in my city, the sun sets earlier. This means that during my walks, instead of the sun being high, it hides, as if shyly, between the buildings and the treetops.
In the areas with trees everything is darker and between them you can see how it illuminates other parts of the streets, houses and parks. There is a feeling of searching for the sun.
I made my way to the main avenue, where there are some very picturesque buildings in their construction and architecture, always with their views interspersed between tall palm trees and generating some very beautiful postcards.
On this occasion I really enjoyed paying attention to the sun's rays, both those that slipped through the trees and were carefully deposited on the ground, as well as those that allowed me to see into the darker areas.
I crossed the avenue, after making sure that nobody was passing by on the bike path, as I have had a scare from people on scooters who don't look to the sides. You have to be careful.
Once I crossed, some trees that I love begin to appear, they have very particular trunks and roots that can be seen with the naked eye.
One of the gardens I first came across when I arrived in Malaga were the Picasso Gardens, and although they are very large, this is one of the entrances to them.
These gardens are laid out like a four-leaf clover and today my walk took place in one of these leaves, the one I like the most because of the trees in it.
Before entering and stepping into the shadows and sunshine of the garden, I looked across the avenue and saw how the sun was shining on that big building.
At this time of year there are not many flowering plants, but there are some that bloom all year round that I could find. This is one of my favourites.
In this part of the Picasso gardens, as in the others, there are countless paths that lead to different landscapes.
At the beginning of this cloverleaf, there is a beautiful park for children. Every afternoon parents bring their children there to play and have fun. It is extremely beautiful to hear the laughter of the children and also to see their pets playing.
This iron sculpture came out as I passed by, I thought I saw a flower, that's what art does, everyone can see different things. It is very well done with lots of details. I think someone was hiding behind it. I think it is used to play hide and seek.
When I go into this area, it seems to me to be in a kind of jungle, the rays of the sun become magic between the leaves and branches of the trees.
They belong to the ficus family, and here they are called the grandparents of Malaga because of their age, which can be seen in their large trunks and fabulous roots.
From every angle you look at them they are beautiful, with very strange shapes, like dancing, unruly roots.
Above all, as I was saying, I liked to focus on those rays of sunshine that came in from time to time through the greenery.
More paths opened up before me, often as if inviting me to choose one of them, like life's choices.
It was beautiful to see the creeping plants how they adore these trees, to the point of embracing them.
More paths before me and on this occasion to see a beautiful fountain which, although not working, was beautiful all the same.
From time to time I looked up and saw the immense height of certain trees and palm trees in contrast to the blue sky.
The trees with their dancing trunks and roots were always in my way. Each one was different from the last one I had seen and beautiful.
The first sculpture I saw was the first one made in honour of Picasso in 1972 by the sculptor Ramón Calderón.
But the second one I saw was even more amazing, the shapes, the curves, the different faces and leather parts that could be seen are beautiful. A monument dedicated especially to Picasso that reflects his form, his works, his style.
From that part of the tour I began to see the trees that caught my attention.
The sun's rays embraced their branches and leaves and were visible from time to time, creating a magical atmosphere.
I focused mainly on the trunks which seemed to me extremely strange and bizarre in their shapes and also on the roots, which came out of the ground either to escape or just to get some air.
These roots formed figures as if they wanted to talk. I tried to stand very close to them to see what they saw at that height above the ground. And always a command of leaves were close to them as if to listen to what they have to say.
Anyway I admired every part of this nature that appeared in front of me and how the sun touched, giving warmth to some of its parts.
After a long time admiring this beauty, I said goodbye, to the trees, the Picasso sculpture and that street lamp that told me to come back, and that they will be waiting for me.
I hope you enjoyed this pleasant walk among giants, sunshine and art.
A big hello to all of you and see you next time.

Gracias @enraizar 🤗
Just like my hometown, but greener and without the scorching sun! xD
What is your hometown?
Cumaná. But it's a joke. Cumaná is nothing like that place.
Never mind, I'll bring you the photos!!! Good night!
🤣
You made me to wait so long...🐒🐒🐒 ... to meet the Picasso.... it took you an entire day to write this piece.🧟♀️...but ultimately it was a good walk, with some of the fine sculpture dedicated to Picasso...The place is well maintained...and that flower it looks colorful but it is a wild I guess mostly put around the boundary bushes..we call them 'putush'
It didn't take me a day! hahaha but it was for today hahaha Those flowering plants... they are not wild here but they spread fast, so if it could be, with just one plant they form many!!! I love it!
Jardines Picasso has 4 parts, this is only one hahahaha be patient!

I always find so interesting the roots of these trees. They look like old, wise people.
And some of them are more than 100 years old! I love them and my mother went with me, she asked me to take pictures of her with the roots hahaha.
a beautiful walk and i hate this time of year when the days are so short, but now there slowly gettign longer again thankfully
Wishing you and years all the best for 2024 and Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
It is true, there is less sun and the pictures are different, at least I was able to capture some rays among the trees.
Thank you very much and happy new year @tattoodjay 😃
👍🙂👍
Beautiful sculptures, but the most beautiful sculptures that exist are those created by nature, those trees are a beauty and love the little and colorful flowers ❤️
Totally agree, nature is the most wonderful thing there is, I love those trees!❤️
This is a great park with all these exotic plants. I wish we had more palm trees here. The trees look unique, and with those large roots, they have a "prehistoric" look to them
I love this park, I think there is magic there and a lot of mystery. Thank you very much!❤️
What a beautiful hike, lots of nature around. I never tire of saying how beautiful your city is, I love that park in the heart of the city
Beautiful photos, dear friend @avdesing, I appreciate that you have made this known.
Have a beautiful night and a happy rest
And it's even bigger, I'll bring the rest soon! Thank you very much @jlufer 😀
This taking a walk through one of the leaves of a cloverleaf is really interesting. The Picasso gardens were inaugurated when I was still only able to say a few words... it turns out that this was the centenary of the famous painter.
How many sensations the trees and the sun's rays make you experience... you are a very sensitive girl.
Thank you for such a nice and fresh walk.
I think nature is the only thing that can surprise me nowadays and I love it. I feel very good there to recharge my batteries... .... yes very sensitive... good or bad I don't know, but that's how it is.
The tree has a strange shape that makes me think of the tree on the edge of the felur in the tropics, it has a lot of similarities there. The sculpture is just as strange; it is well placed in relation to the tree. Well done, what a beautiful photo
Those trees catch my eye and I love them, they are so rare! And the sculpture is wonderful.... I will bring more about it!
