Resting on the beach.

Imposing on the soft sand rests a large rock of a very peculiar shape.

It is shaped like a rock and as I approached it I could appreciate its irregular texture, its shapes and how capricious, but at the same time perfect, nature is.

It seems as if someone had placed it in that place for some reason unknown to us mortals.

It is in a perfect place, surrounded by a perfect landscape, as if it were paradise itself.

The sun's rays bathe the shores, flooding everything with intense light. Everything is radiant.

Meanwhile, the sea reaches the coast and crashes against this huge rock, which looks like a giant from mythology.

I was astonished by what I saw as I approached it, its shape, colour and how the sea has marked its erosions on it.

Rough texture, random shapes and yet an unparalleled beauty. It rests quietly as the foam caresses it.

I tried to capture that foam that comes to accompany the huge rock, close to the sand. To be able to capture those textures, of the foam, the water, the sand and the rock. All different from each other, but that make up a paradisiacal place.

On several occasions the sun's rays were so strong that they prevented me from seeing, but they are also part of the beauty that is nature.

Each new movement of the sea drew foam of different shapes on the sand, which came closer, danced on the sand and then went away again.

The water was cold, it's winter at the moment, but with the sun it was warm.
Every fact on the big rock created different figures and the ensemble of these figures made it possible to distinguish different formations.

Far away was the city, far away from this paradise where few people go, especially at this time of the year.

It stands imposing and can see everything around it, perhaps the travellers in their boats, the birds visiting it, the children playing beside it in the summer and above all the clouds that fly over it every day and see it strong and with a great attitude dominating the area.

The great rock, far from people and noise, in the middle of nature, rests quietly on the soft sand and enjoys the caresses that the water with its foam gives it at every moment, while the sun's rays come to illuminate these wonderful views.

This rock is the one that gives its name to this beautiful beach on the outskirts of the city. Peñon del cuervo is called and it is a place I love to visit for its peace, harmony and the harmony I get there with nature.
