My loves: Catalina and Tony🐱 (WEEK 155)

I love cats... since when? Since before I was born, I always say so. And someone will ask me: what do you mean, since before I was born?

When my mother was pregnant with me, there was a cat in the house and he was always by her side when she was expecting me, he took care of me, because my mother had to rest for almost 6 months in order not to lose me.

He looked after me...

Then when I was born, he was always under my cot. That's how I have always had the protection of these wonderful beings.

There is a phrase I once read that said: Cats look after the spirit. They are wise and magical beings, I have proved it.

In ancient times, when medicine was not accepted, the first doctors took cats to the villages to heal the sick.

Many say that if you stare into their eyes you will see the other plane. What I can say is that they fill me with a love that words cannot explain.

At this moment in my life I have two loves: Catalina and Tony. They are both 10 and a half years old and have been with me since they were 40 days old, since they were babies.

When they arrived I had lost another 14 year old kitten and my other kitten, also 14 years old, was very sick. They told me don't run out of cats, it's hard, but look for other kittens.

First came Tony, my grey baby, my furry sweetheart. He is sweet, tender, cuddly, playful and naughty. An eternal baby.

A few days later Cata (Catalina) arrived, my protective queen, my little black one. She is my protection, she takes care of me, she is with me night and day, she follows me wherever I go. She knows when I am bad, she looks at me and gives me her love.

Both are totally different in character.

I take Tony for walks on a leash like a puppy and he loves it. I carry him on my shoulder until we get to the park and we both walk there. He is my model for photographs, he likes to pose for me.

Cata is less sociable, so she stays at home, she is scared of strangers, but with me she is the most loving cat on the planet. I was recommended to have a black cat, as my totem animal is a panther. I was told that in her you will find your panther, and so it was.

The love I feel for them has no words but only heart, they are my children, without them I am lost. They give me joy in the day to day and strength when it seems I have none. They talk to me, listen to me and accompany me.

They love to play around the house or sleep next to me.

A lot of people say, I don't want to have animals because when they're gone you suffer, but .... What they give me in life is much greater and worth it.

I brought them both from Argentina, I couldn't leave them there. Cata travelled with me on the plane, in my lap and Tony with my family 5 months later. There was also Lissa who I could not fail to mention, she left more than 3 years ago, and she was the youngest baby. She will always be in my heart.

Why do I love them? Unapplicable reasons, it comes from my soul, from my heart... love has no words, it can only be felt. I think they give me so much that it's a back and forth. They know that I adore them.

What do they bring to my life? Companionship, protection, joy, calm, healing, and an energy beyond all else. They bring peace, balance, and immense love.

Wise, mysterious beings, full of magic.
