Love is celebrated every day [ENG|ESP]
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive!
I stop by this nice community again to participate in this week's Contest which is now in its 128th edition.
This time love and marriage are the protagonists. There are two options to respond around the topic. The first is:
1️⃣ To married ladies, do you celebrate your wedding anniversaries?
Describe how or what you usually do.
And the second option is:
2️⃣ To the ladies who are not yet married, do you have a dream wedding?
Share what it's like.
So, as a married lady, I'm going to answer the first question.

Esta vez el amor y el matrimonio son los protagonistas. Hay dos opciones para responder en torno al tema. La primera es:
1️⃣ A las señoras casadas, ¿celebráis vuestros aniversarios de boda?
Describe cómo o qué sueles hacer.
Y la segunda opción es:
2️⃣ Para las damas que aún no se han casado, ¿tienen una boda de ensueño?
Comparte cómo es.
Así pues, como señora casada, voy a responder a la primera pregunta.
I got married on a November 19th 30 years ago. Since then my marriage has been a great blessing and I am infinitely grateful for what I have experienced in each of these years. Of course, everything has not been rosy. Of course we have had, throughout all this time together, some difficulties and ups and downs that we have been able to overcome with much love and respect. These have been few, thank God, more have been the moments and the memories of a beautiful life in union and communion.
I am one of those who think that a marriage is cared for daily, like a little plant that is seen to prosper and fills us with joy. A marriage is cared for with details, with gestures, with actions. For this reason, I also think that a marriage is celebrated every day and this is what my husband and I have done.
We have celebrated our anniversary since year one, as a family, with a glass of wine, sometimes with a cake, sometimes with a meal at home or in a special place, but we have always toasted for being together, for being life partners, friends and lovers.
Some of our celebrations have been saved in photos on my social media.
Rummaging through my archived photos to make this post, I came across a beautiful record from a few years ago. I remembered, today that we planned to have a party for our 25th anniversary, but we couldn't do it because that year my brother died and we weren't in the mood for parties, but my husband was there, giving me all his support. Then, we thought that when we turned 30, which we did last year, but we couldn't do it either because of the loss of my mother. In the same way, my husband was there holding me with all his love in such a hard moment.
Today I share with you this photographic record of our special day in which we renewed our vows of love, understanding, communication and respect to continue walking this life together.
Finally, I want to share with you a fragment of the book The sum of the days by Isabel Allende that is perfectly coincident with us and that summarizes what has allowed us, my husband and me, to be together for so many years and adding up, with God's favor.
"What is the secret of a good marriage? I don't know, every couple is different. We are united by ideas, a similar way of looking at the world, camaraderie, loyalty, humor. We take care of each other. We have the same schedule, we like the same movies... when we are together our energy multiplies..."
Me casé un 19 de noviembre hace 30 años. Desde entonces mi matrimonio ha sido una gran bendición y agradezco infinitamente lo que he vivido en cada uno de estos años. Por supuesto, todo no ha sido color de rosa. Claro que hemos tenido, a lo largo de todo este tiempo juntos, algunas dificultades y altibajos que hemos podido superar con mucho amor y respeto. Estos han sido pocos, gracias a Dios, más han sido los momentos y los recuerdos de una vida bonita en unión y comunión
Soy de las que piensa que un matrimonio se cuida diariamente, como a una plantita a la que se le ve prosperar y nos llena de alegría. Un matrimonio se cuida con detalles, con gestos, con acciones. Por esto, pienso también que un matrimonio se celebra todos los días y esto hemos hecho mi esposo y yo.
Hemos celebrado nuestro aniversario desde el año uno, en familia, con una copa de vino, algunas veces con un pastel, otras con una comida en casa o en un lugar especial, pero siempre hemos brindado por estar juntos, por ser compañeros de vida, amigos y amantes.
Algunas de nuestras celebraciones han quedado guardadas en fotografías en mis redes sociales.
Hurgando en mis fotos archivadas para hacer esta publicación, me encontré con un registro hermoso de algunos años. Recordé, hoy que planeamos hacer una fiesta para nuestro aniversario 25, pero no la pudimos hacer porque ese año murió mi hermano y no estábamos para fiestas, pero mi esposo estaba ahí, dándome todo su apoyo. Luego, pensamos que cuando cumpliéramos los 30, que los cumplimos el año pasado, pero tampoco pudo ser por la pérdida de mi madre. De igual manera, ahí estaba mi esposo conteniéndome con todo su amor en tan duro momento.
Hoy comparto con ustedes este registro fotográfico de nuestro día especial en el que renovamos los votos de amor, comprensión, comunicación y respeto para seguir caminando esta vida juntos.
Finalmente, quiero compartir con ustedes un fragmento del libro La suma de los días de Isabel Allende que es perfectamente coincidente con nosotros y que resume lo que nos ha permitido, a mi esposo y a mí, estar juntos por tantos años y sumando, con el favor de Dios.
"¿Cuál es el secreto de un buen matrimonio? No lo sé, cada pareja es diferente. A nosotros nos unen ideas, una manera similar de ver el mundo, camaradería, lealtad, humor. Nos cuidamos mutuamente. Tenemos el mismo horario, nos gustan las mismas películas... cuando estamos juntos nuestra energía se multiplica..."

Your story is beautiful and your photos (and smiles) show how you celebrate each other throughout the years. And it's very true what you said, that love is celebrated everyday and not only on special days. This is one thing we need to learn and take to heart. Congratulations on your 30th going 31. Concuerdo contigo amiga, el amor se festeja cada día, con atenciones y detalles, con solidaridad y respeto, estando el uno para el otro en las buenas y en las malas, superando toda prueba difícil.
Qué bonito que tengas el registro fotográfico de cada año, nosotros perdimos la mayor parte de nuestras fotografías pasadas, que estaban en un disco duro que se dañó. También renovamos votos en el 2016, fue como un segundo matrimonio, todo hermoso y aún estaba mi familia, que justo ese año se fue a Chile.
Que Dios les regale muchos años más juntitos en amor.
