Halloween / Decorative magnets (ESP-ENG)

Hoy comparto un nuevo proyecto en esta comunidad creativa y talentosa. Esta vez hice unos fantasmas y sombreros de brujitas como imanes decorativos para la nevera. Son muy fáciles de hacer y pueden servir para dar como un regalito a quienes les gusta decorar la casa para celebrar la noche de Halloween.

Today I share a new project in this creative and talented community. This time I made some ghosts and witches hats as decorative fridge magnets. They are very easy to make and can be given as a gift to those who like to decorate the house to celebrate Halloween night.

Lo primero que debemos hacer es sacar los moldes de la figura para marcarlos en el fieltro. Yo quería hacer unos fantasmitas para pegarlos en la nevera, así que inicié una búsqueda por internet y encontré estos moldes de fantasmas y los sombreros de brujita que también me gustaron y me inspiraron para hacer un par de cada modelo.

The first thing to do is to take the molds of the figure to mark them on the felt. I wanted to make some little ghosts to stick on the fridge, so I started a search on the internet and found these molds of ghosts and witch hats that I also liked and inspired me to make a couple of each model.

Cuando trabajamos con fieltro blanco hay que ser muy cuidadosos para no mancharlo con la tinta del bolígrafo o marcador que usamos para hacer la transferencia. Luego de esto, procedemos a recortar las partes necesarias para darle vida al motivo.

When working with white felt we must be very careful not to stain it with the ink of the pen or marker we use to make the transfer. After this, we proceed to cut out the necessary parts to give life to the motif.

Al sombrerito de bruja, le puse un corazón negro en el centro de la cinta y para resaltarlo le di puntadas con hilo negro por todo el borde del fieltro anaranjado. Después, di puntadas con hilo blanco para unir las dos piezas del sombrero, para terminar lo rellené con el algodón especial y cerré con las puntadas blancas.

I put a black heart in the center of the ribbon on the witch's hat and to highlight it, I stitched with black thread all around the edge of the orange felt. Then, I stitched with white thread to join the two pieces of the hat. To finish, I filled it with special cotton and closed it with white stitches.

Para la pareja de fantasmas, bordeé con puntadas de hilo negro, dejé abierto por debajo para rellenar, mientras pegaba los pedacitos de fieltro negro que conformarían la cara de ambos. Introduje el algodón y terminé de coser. Para diferenciarlos, le puse un lacito a la chica fantasma.

For the pair of ghosts, I edged with black thread stitches, left open underneath to fill in, while I glued the little pieces of black felt that would make up the face of both of them. I inserted the cotton and finished sewing. To differentiate them, I put a bow on the ghost girl.

Finalmente, les puse un pedacito de la cinta imantada para pegarlos en la nevera y listo. Así quedaron los imanes decorativos para la nevera o para cualquier otra superficie imantada.

Finally, I put a little piece of magnetic tape to stick them on the fridge and that was it. This is how the decorative magnets for the fridge or for any other magnetized surface turned out.
