Happy Anniversary to El Salvador?

I think it's time we wish El Salvador a happy anniversary since they became known as the Bitcoin capital of the world and that's thanks to Nayib Bukele who's also considered the Bitcoin Lord. El Salvador became popular after Nayib Bukele the president of El Salvador made cryptocurrency a legal tender in the country and since then the country's popularity has skyrocketed.

It's been one year since El Salvador became the Bitcoin capital and when that happened Nayib Bukele surprised it's citizens by giving out $30 worth of Bitcoin to every one of them with the hope of raising the Bitcoin bonds up to $1 billion as it's now a legal tender in the country. The question is will that be possible? Or has it been possible?

Another major plan of Nayib Bukele is to build a city that is going to be shaped like Bitcoin and it's going to be at the foot of an active volcano with the hope of it serving as an energy source to mine the cryptocurrency. However, it's been a year since the announcement of building the city and nothing has been done yet and the only thing achieved was sending out the $30 to the citizens and it wasn't easy sending it out to them.

There were lots of technical issues before some of the citizens got their Bitcoin and despite the city being popular for making Bitcoin a legal tender the citizens are still not able to buy or sell anything with it, at least according to a National Bureau of Economic Research study in July.
