Lucky Trevenant and Gourgeist Pokédex Registry

Phantump and Pumpkaboo were added to Pokémon GO for the 2nd part of the Halloween Mischief event as mentioned in https://hive.blog/gaming/@athunderstruck/halloween-mischief-ghoulish-pals-phantump-and-pumpkaboo-debuts

In this blog I'll talk about evolving them and including the ones that I've evolved.

Back in Pokémon X and Y when they were first introduced, it was required to trade them to evolve them. So the evolve requirement for Pokémon GO is to either use 200 Candy to evolve them or trade them with another Trainer at which point the Candy requirement will chance to 0. This has been introduced in Pokémon GO as an evolution method for certain traded Pokémon a while ago.

In this photo you can see my best Pumpkaboo. Next to it you can see the Trade icon and "or 200" on the right side of the Evolve button.

So the easiest way to get Trevenant and Gourgeist in your Pokédex is to trade one with another Trainer so that the Candy requirement goes to 0. That way you can save your candy for some great IVs of them that you'd wanna evolve sometime.

I traded some Phantump with a friend until I got a Lucky Phantump and then the same to get a Lucky Gourgeist. After we got both of them I decided to evolve them. That way I'd have them Lucky in my Pokédex already. Here are the stats for my Lucky Phantump and Gourgeist. Followed by the Lucky Trevenant and Lucky Gourgeist Pokédex registry.

It took several trades to get both of them Lucky. Especially for Pumpkaboo. I made sure to keep one traded Pumpkaboo from every size. That way I could evolve them all for 0 Candy to add all 4 sizes to the Pokédex as well. Here's a comparison of the different sizes.

Now that I've evolved those as well can take a look at the Pokédex entries for Trevenant and Gourgeist.

As you can see the Small Size, Average Size, Large Size and Super Size Gourgeist are now all shown in my Pokédex now.
