Galarian Slowking Added - Registering Galarian Slowbro and Slowking

Galarian Slowpoke and Slowbro were already available in the game. Now Galarian Slowking has been added to the game as part of the Halloween Event's part 1: Creepy Companions. After the event it will remain possible to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Slowking. To help Trainers get Galarian Slowking, the next part of the Special Research for Misunderstood Mischief will lead to a Galarian Slowpoke Encounter.

As said before, Galarian Slowpoke and Slowbro were already in the game. But I didn't have Galarian Slowbro in my Pokédex yet. In this screenshot you can see that.

So I guess now that the Special Research requires us to evolve a Slowpoke, I'll go ahead and get both Galarian Slowbro and Galarian Slowking in my Pokédex.

How to evolve Galarian Slowpoke

Deciding to evolve Galarian Slowpoke isn't as easy as evolving a regular Slowpoke. As you need more than Kantonian Slowpoke Candy (and King's Rock in the case of evolving to Slowking).

To evolve Galarian Slowpoke you have to set your Galarian Slowpoke as your Buddy Pokémon and then catch Pokémon while its your Buddy Pokémon. When you look at your Galarian Slowpoke you can use a little arrow underneath the evolutions to check your progress.

For evolving Galarian Slowpoke into Slowbro you need to have it as your Buddy Pokémon and then catch 30 Poison-type Pokémon.
For evolving it into Slowking you will need one as your Buddy Pokémon too and then catch 30 Psychic-type Pokémon. Galarian Slowking doesn't require a King's Rock on top of that.

In the screenshot above you can also see that the button is greyed out when the requirement isn't met yet and once it's met it will turn green.

Since I didn't have either Galarian Evolution in my Pokédex yet, I decided I will work on that now. Maybe I would've postponed it if I had a Kantonian Slowpoke to evolve. But still it's good to add both Galarian Evolutions. First I worked on the requirement for Galarian Slowking. After that I switched my Buddy to another Galarian Slowpoke that I still had and worked on the requirement for Galarian Slowbro.

The Halloween Event is perfect for that as we can find lots of Ghosty-, Poison- and Psychic-type Pokémon in the wild right now.

Here are screenshot of evolving them.

Now that I evolved both of them, we can take a look at my Pokédex Entry for Slowpoke again and see that the Galarian Form for Slowbro and Slowking are now coloured in as they are registered in my Pokédex.
