Roxit Mega Gym Centre
Usually I only talk about the beautiful design and architecture of a building, restaurant or coffee shop, today I tell you about something different which might be something that makes you curious. This time, allow me to tell you about the most extensive, magnificent and spectacular mega gym center in the city of Medan, Roxit.
This is the only mega gym center in my city, there are no competitors. This place is the largest and most expensive gym center, you can see it from the first time I posted a photo of Roxit. This is my first time here, I'm also not a member here, but there is one interesting thing. Before getting a gym membership at Roxit, you can try it with a 'free trial' for 3 consecutive days to decide whether to take it or not.
There are many reasons why there is a free trial, because this gym can only be a membership for a minimum of 6 months and you have to decide before switching to this place. Moreover, expensive membership fees will be an obstacle when you end up being lazy about going to the gym center and spending your money in vain.
Well, this was my friend's idea, because we were very bored with our usual gym, so we decided to go on a gym safari. Coincidentally, Roxit has a free trial and we just tried it for 1 day. I know this place is very large and magnificent, because they used the RRI building which had been empty for years, and finally the building was rented out and could be used with a gym concept. It was extraordinary, this old building was transformed into a very magnificent place. I am very sure that this building has quite a lot of capital apart from the equipment which is an investment.
I started to detail the Roxit Mega Gym Center from the entrance which can only be used with a barcode or fingerprint. They use a system that is extraordinarily safe and comfortable. This gym has a variety of lights, from any angle the lighting radiates which makes it look voluminous, majestic and feels like you are in a nightclub. Very soft EDM music enters the ears, it seems to have a very good sound.
Greeted by many encouraging writings 'there is no finish' in the treadmill layout section, 'stronger than yesterday' in the dumbbell section and several other writings. I like this section 'finish what you start' which is in front of the cashier's desk. So even if you are alone, you must be enthusiastic after being accompanied by these sentences.
There are many classes, such as Zumba, aerobics, pilates, loop cycle, and each has its own room. But it is indeed the biggest room for gym and lifting that you can use as much as you like. There is a treadmill in almost every corner which makes me really surprised, how come there are so many treadmills here. There's even a treadmill on the second floor, right in front of the women's restroom. You can walk or run on the treadmill while looking down at the beautiful design of this very attractive building.
Because it is very spacious and the room has quite high walls, so you can breathe freely. Usually gym centers in this city have small buildings that are sufficient to use several equipment. Even the gym I usually go to is only 10m x 18m, which sometimes makes it hard to breathe, especially if lots of people come.
The thing I like most at Roxit is the toilets, bathrooms and toilets which are very good and very clean. I have never seen a public toilet this clean, quite spacious and complete with storage space. You can even use the locker permanently if you have your own lock. You can buy it here and use it as you like.
There are several bathrooms that are equipped with soap and shampoo that can be used free of charge, warm water and also cold water for bathing. Apart from that, there is a hair dryer provided next to the sink mirror.
Actually, I'm quite interested, even though it costs more than my current gym. However, because the location is quite far from my house, about 30 minutes without traffic jams, but the city of Medan is too congested, so it will take me 1-2 hours just to get to Roxit, so I lowered my expectations. Hopefully they can open a branch near my house, someday!

there is a treadmill in front of the women's toilet. Maybe so that people immediately walk again on the treadmill after urinating. 😊
the price if you want get membership in Roxit so expensive, and this gym centre just opened for 3 months ago.

This is a simply beautiful place, with a spectacular modern style. I am sure one would not get bored visiting this gym, just going to visit it must be entertaining, which makes it more bearable to exercise for beginners.
